Oakland did a Dye job on the Braves last night for us here. The game should not have taken that long, but a win is a win. Let's get another for tonight.

2X-- ANAHEIM ANGELS -130
I will stay on the left coast again tonight and look to get another late winner. The Angels are beginning to get healthy and that is a bad omen on a league that has literally beat on the World Champs for the first half of the season. Percival and Erstad are back-- Eckstein is nearing 100%. This team is ready for a serious run. Tonight, veteran Kevin Appier takes the hill for the Halos. He enters with a 4-3 YTD record and a 4.80 ERA in 10 starts. Appier has been very steady this season and has kept the Angels competitive in his starts. Appier has no career record against the Phillies, but did see action as a Met. He brings in a 0-0 lifetime record with a 3.21 ERA in 2 career starts. He does have some familiarity with this line-up and that should help. Expect a close game again tonight. Phily starter Brett Myers is turning into a good major league pitcher, but he is still learning on the job. Anticipate the veteran line-up of the Angels to eventually get to the youngster. Moreover, the Phillies are not bringing in good numbers for their position here tonight. Philadelphia is currently 3-5 YTD against the AL West. As a Dog, Phily has been horrible. They enter 6-12 YTD for a -$485 deficit and 5-9 as a road dog. Also, they have lost 3 in a row to RHP on the road. Put it all together, I will side with the Champs at home.

Good Luck.
