Havent posted a play in a while but really like this one tonight.
NIU has completley turned around their team and has been playing great football this year. They have lost by 4 in the dome vrs the Gophers to open up the season, then week 2 went to Western Mich and faced the #6 QB in the country, Tim Hiller, and held him well below his season average and his lowest total of the season of only 186 yards passing. Their 3rd and last loss came @ the Vols, losing 13-9. The Vols may be having a down year but for NIU to go into their place and play that good of a game really impressed me.
The Huskies have covered the spread in each of their 3 losses this year. I expect the Huskies to have some success in the run game as that seems to be Ball St.'s glaring weakness on defense. I also think NIU will be well prepped for Nate Davis and will not be the 1st time they've seen a great QB this year. The unfortunate injury of Dante Love will also help the Huskies as he torched them for 135 yards on 9 catches in last years 21-27 loss to Ball St. in NIU.
I still think this line can and will go up and will hopefully grab another point but do like the play as it stands at +9.
