The past few Ranger/Caps games have been very penalty filled, and both teams have taken a lot of penalties so far. I think the Caps PP is close to 30%, so if those things hold true I would guess they could score 3. Jagr is playing like a man possessed, but the team is having some trouble clicking and scoring even strength. Butch is trying a bunch of different line combos to get a feel for what works. NYR defense has been really bad and the goaltending even worse in the games I have seen. The Caps have been giving up a ton of shots on goal but Kolzig has played well. Billington gave up 3 in the first and got pulled, and they got only 1 5-4 PP (although many more should have been called)or that Dallas game could have been different, IMO. After the way TB pasted NY the other night this game scares me for the Caps. 6 is a lot of goals, but both teams definitely have the skill players and power play units to light the lamp a lot.
