Cincy (+9.5) over Louisville
Last game cincy showed they can play with this team, but they didn't finish thier drink and lost. Tonight the Bearcats travel to Freedom Hall, the place where they got waxed 93-66 last year. Louisville averages 85.6 points per game and shoots 48 % from the field. Cincinnati allows opponents to shoot only 35.7 % from the field, 2nd in the country. Cincy struggles begin at the point guard spot, Chadd Moore and Jamaal Lucas are both fighting through injury. While Jihad Muhammad hasn't performed up to hopes. The Bearcats continue to be inconsistent on offense. They haven't shown the explosive offense that Louisville has and Cincinnati is 4-3 since its 11-0 start but all three losses have come against top-25 teams, including top-ranked Illinois and third-ranked Wake Forest. Tonight should be a hard fought game. Maxiell HAS to have a big game if the bearcats hope to pull off the upset. pressure on Louisville shooters is important, hands in the faces of the guards because the Cards love to fire the three ball.

No disrespect intended.. Just thought I'd add all of the percentages in which a game is properly capped from.
Not just what Cincy averages giving up. Louisville gives up less.

Last 5 games out - Louisville on FIRE
Offense
Points for = 90 Cincy PF = 75.4
Defense
Points against = 58 Cincy PA = 63
Louisville shooing percentage = 45.1% Cincy 43.6
Shooting percentage allowed = Louisville 35.4 / Cincy 34.4

3 point % = Louisville 42.1% Cincy 40.0
Rebounds = Louisville 42 Cincy = 38

Freethrow % - Louisville = 63.9 Cincy = 67.9

Compare that with Cincy = Road stats vs Louisville home stats
Cincy PF = 73 / Louisville 86.7
Cincy PA = 61.3 / Louisville 55
Cincy FG % = 44.1 / Louisville 49.4
Cincy FG% allowed = 35.4% / Louisville = 34 %
3 point % - Cincy = 33.3 / Louisville 41.4

Don't buy the hype that Cincy can hang with Louisville because they are going to get blasted out of freedom hall.

MY MONEY IS ON LOUISVILLE.................GOOD LUCK DUDE.

No disrespect taken but if you read my post correctly, it shows I think Louisville is a better team. Your right about a lot of those points. Louisville is red hot, against Tenn (10-10) ECU (7-13) and Marquette (w/out #1 scorer). I have said this many times @ MJ's - Cincy has talent but does not have the mental edge to run teams out of the building. Considering they were leading by 11 at the half last time they played Louisville, I'll stand by that assessment.

To say they can't hang with this team is IMO incorrect. They were leading by 11 at half in the first game (Mentally that tells the players you can beat this team). Plus they just hammered Houston a team that beat Louisville. Louisville has lost to Iowa and Houston are those team that much better than Cincy? Cincy hung with Wake forest and has been manhandled once his season and that was @ Ill (20 point loss). My honest thought is both these teams are over-hyped that's why I'm going with the points.

EDIT: I have been cold as ice lately so you could be right on the money, that's why they play the game.

Cheers

Providence (-5) over UVA
More a play on UVA being a poor road team and the Friars having enough talent to make them pay. Although the last 7 games have been unkind to providence they have played solid competition and almost walked away with some W's.
9 points loss @ BC
3 point loss to BC
4 point loss to WVU
5 point loss to Nova
4 point loss to Cuse
5 point loss @ the RAC
Out right waxed @ Pitt

Now the UVA Cav's stroll into the Dunkin Doughnut center. The Friars won last year's meeting 84-69 in Charlottesville. Fresh off their mid-evil flogging at the hands of the Heels. UVA is 1-5 away from home and that win was a 4 point win at N'Western. Their last away game was a loss to rival VT by 6. The Cav's might be a little deflated coming into tonights contest. UVA goes on cold runs and Providence has to capitalize with runs of their own. UVA also has the tendency to turn the ball over, the friars need to turn those into instant offense.

Cheers
