irvine +11.5 anteaters have a big frontline and cal starts 3 frosh that still learning d1 level, too many points. med. play

unlv +9 mrqtte transfer blankson will neutralize farmer from sc and after that not much there...med. play

northridge -4 this is good spot for matadors, small number! med. play

sd st. -7 coming off tough loss, will be ready after 2 days on practice, had played without much practice
san jose st. +3 too athletic for s.clara
cal poly +1.5 great road team, lmu due for let down
ucla -12 please, don't be fooled by 1st game...

love the asu play.. people may have beeen scared off by asu 0-3 ats start, but coach evans was playing the whole team double digit minutes to get better for later in the year. He said he will tighten up the rotation tonight and stick to his 7 or 8 guys not 12 guys. Plus Diogu is coming off a 31 point effort... he is unstoppable and Nebraska struggled like everyone else to stop him last year

johnny- howland has said that UCR is a better team than Vermont was, I know the 1 point win wasnt indicitive of the way the game was played casue UCLA clearly was better, but you dont think 12.5 is too much for a team like UCLA trying to gel and having huge game following UCR? After all UCR was an 18.5 point dog at ASU Saturday and were up 6 at the break before getting steamrolled.. thanks for the info

cornhuskers are a perfect team for ike, neb is physical and loves to bang. i can see a 30+ point game for him, plus this year he has perimeter talent on the team. in terms of ucla, my feeling is it was 1st game under howland. that score/game is NOT indictive of their future games and read that howland is going with 2 7- footers in the starting line-up! GOOD LUCK

played all my games listed tonite, went 7-3 and doubled my winnings on the last play (unlv 2h)!

zona st. really disappointed tonite, ike had foul trouble and team really struggled.
utah st. got way behind 1h, never recovered.
san diego st. was smoking 1h, faded 2h and i thought it would be the torreros that would wilt. brad holland is a very coach!

on plus side
unlv shot the 3 very well sc didn't
ucla flexed the muscle, could see howland's efforts tonite
irvine is an expirienced group and cal is really young.
sj st. is making alot of $$$ for me already
cal poly good road team, they won't disapoint! lmu was due for let down
and finally northridge did as expected, pressured montana tonite

i believe in giving credit where its due, and i respect people who put the time in, are successful, and fly under the radar for some reason.

not trying to stir anything up, but for as good as this board is -- and its clearly the premier capping board out there -- it seems a lot of guys just defer to "seniority" and kiss ass of some mediocre vets (because its the chic thing to do) while other cappers (like yourself) dont get the credit they deserve. thats just the way i see it. the louder the posts and more outlandish the posting verbiage tends to normally mean the poorer the capper thats posting it.
