Last night: 2-3 [-1.25]

PENS AT SENS

We have a game with a great offense [Pens] vs. a great defense[Sens]. And a bad defense [Pens] vs. a bad offense [Sens]

Sens lost last night to PHY 2-1, and will be a bit tired, I guess.

1. PITTSBURGH +.5 [+120][2 units]

Lean to Over, but after last night, I am just a bit gun-shy of "OVERS". The least goals scored in Pens last 5 games was 5, a 3-2 win at Caps. In contrast, Sens last five only 1 game has scored, more than 5 goals, a 3-5 loss at Montreal...

Recent Trends [from Covers.com]
The over is 2-0 when the Pens are away.
The over is 7-2 in the past nine meetings.
The Penguins are 4-2 ATS in the past six meetings.
The under is 3-0 when the Sens are home.
Ottawa has won its last two ATS at home.
OTT is 29th in offense with 2.14 goals/game scored.

Some confusing items here, and I am going to ignore most of them

NYR AT T.B.

2. Rangers +.5 [-118]

Tampa Bay is improved, and sport a 6-1-2 record. They have only lost to NJ. But 3 wins have come against Atlanta and FLA, and also a 4-2 away win against the Rangers. The Rangers have won 2 in a row against quality opponents.

Tend to the OVER - Tampa has scored 3 or more goals in 7 of 9 games, and rank #1 in scoring with 4.0 gpg.

Trends:
The Rangers are 3-1 ATS on the road.
The away team has won the last three ATS & SU.
The Rangers have won their last two ATS.
TB is 5-0 ATS on a days rest.
TB's offense is first with 4 goals/game scored.
The over is 6-2-2 in the past 10 meetings.

More later, if I have time...

Good luck

IP :)

Good luck on your plays, Dave. I like Pit too. Took 'em on the m.l.(+170). I am on the Rangers too. You mignt want to look at the under in the NYI/CAR game.

3. Nashville +.5 [+165]

Nick D. has been picking this team all year, without much success...a look at their schedule shows why. They have played a lot of very good teams at the start of the season. I am looking at the last game - a win at home against Detroit - to gice them some momentum. STL has played phenonemal hockey, given the injuries they have. 5-0 last five, but only Dallas can be considered a quality opponent. STL coming off a 2 game roadie for this one game, and go back on the road for 3 vs. Isles, Rangers, and Habs...

Hope I don't jinx you , Nick. :D
