The Nuggets opened the season 0-3 (two losses at home) but have then proceeded to win three straight road games. After identical 108-101 wins at Philly and Charlotte, the Nuggets won in Miami last night (no Shaq!) 112-105, as Carmelo scored 33 and Miler had 29 and 10 assists. They now try to make it a clean sweep of the road trip with a win tonight in Orlando. No so fast! The Magic have really been tough at home, winning three of four TY (averaging 101.5 PPG and shooting 54%), which continues a trend that saw them win 13 of 15 at home after LY's All Star game! Hill's been healthy and leads the team at 16.4 PPG and Dwight Howard has posted three straight double-doubles, while averaging 15.2-12.9 on the season. PG Nelson averages 16.4 and his backup Arroyo gets 11.4. Turkoglu (10.8-4.0) and Milicic (7.6-50) have been solid plus Dooling (7.2) Ariza (7.0) and center Battie (5.6-5.0) give the Magic very good depth. Depth is something Nuggets don't have right now with Kenyon Martin sidelined and Nene likely to miss again tonight (out last two). The Nuggets just beat last year's champs and are playing their fourth game in six nights, which is never easy. Plus, the last time Denver won in Orlando was 1992! The Nuggets have lost 13 in a row with Orlando averaging 108.5 PPG during that winning streak.
