I havent updated my record for 3 days, so I will try and do that and post it.....but it is still right around even for the year....

Anaheim/Texas over 10.5

*I know that Texas hasnt been scoring runs, but this play is mainly because Chan Ho Park cant find the strike zone yet. He averages well over a walk an inning so far, and you dont really want to put men on base in Arlington, because the ball will fly out and you want as little damage done when it happens. Lackey is about as consistant as they come....he will pitch 5 innings, give up 2 or 3 runs....then the bully will come in and probably give up 1 or 2. So at least...texas will score about 5, which is what they have been scoring lately anyways. Anaheim should be able to score some runs though....Park has been terrible this year, and lucked out against Seattle about a week ago when he walked like 7 in 5 innings, and gave up only a couple runs. He wont be so lucky tonight.

Minnesota -1.5 (-120)

I cant believe I am going to write this but the Twins have covered the runline against the Tigers in 13!!!! straight games!!!! Now that I have brought that to the attention of the gambling gods, they will put an end to it tonight, but that is a trend that I cant ignore. Not to mention, it is the Tigers on the road....anymore need to be said???

Philadelphia -1.5 (+140)

Penny has not been sharp since coming back from injury/suspension. He has a 2.00 WHIP and you dont really want to keep a bunch of guys on base with the fire power of the Phils. The Marlins bullpen has been pretty good, so I am hoping that this one is well in hand by the 5th inning.

Mets/Pitt under 9

Suppan has been great so far.....and both teams have been absolutely horrific at the plate over the last week and a half. Both teams have been scoring 1-4 runs consistantly for about 8 games stright, and both teams are on huge under streaks. The only way I see this one going over is a complete distruction of Cone...which is possible, but I have to go with recent numbers.

AZ/COL over 10

Arizona got shelled last night and used most of its bullpen, and now they are starting one of the guys they had coming out of the bullpen in batista. He isnt going to go all that long tonight...maybe 5 innings...well then what?? Colorado has been hitting the ball well also, so any production tonight will put AZ in a spot where they have to keep a guy in longer than anticipated. ON the other side is Darren Oliver...one of the best over pitchers of his time
:D

San Diego +125 (first 5 innings)

I like this one for game, but I think the stringer bet is on the first 5 innings, due to LA's very strong bully. Lawrence is pitching great and always pitches very well against LA in Dodger Stadium. Ishii is a marginal pitcher IMO, and has not been good at all this year. I will take the nice pitching advantage to start, and hope it works out.
