It's 11:15 and raining in Cleveland. The rain should stop in time for the game but the humidity will be around 90%, with the wind blowing SSW to West at 10-20 MPH. With Wakefield on the mound for Boston and the heavy air the under should be a good play here.

Good Luck to All and Happy 4th of July

Does this mean the wind is blowing in or out? Vegas insider says this....

BOSTON RED SOX AT CLEVELAND INDIANS 1:05 PM EDT
MOSTLY CLOUDY, 70% CHANCE SHOWERS/STORMS, WIND OUT TO LEFT CENTER
15-25, GUSTY. GAME TEMP 83, RH 56%

At 12:00 the humifity is at around 60% but will rise to 85%-90% after the rain stops. Causes the air to be heavy. Winds are blowing at about 15 MPH to the SouthWest----Right field.....

I would say under with Wakefield on the mound, but then again I lose almost every under bet I make so might wanna go over.

Wouldn't put too much stock in the wind factor. It's been raining since 9:30 this morning. If the air has a lot of moisture in it, and with Wackfield throwing a knuckler, the Tribes bats will have a hard time driving the ball out. Not saying the Tribe won't win, just don't think you will see a lot of home runs. With the Indians being a home run hitting team ( 2nd in the AL) the weather may reduce this option a bit

See post by Antonio. I missed this one. Gonzales may not play for the Indians because he doesn't hit knuckball pitchers well. Another HR bat out of the lineup for the first few innings anyway. Looking better
for the under.

When it is humid, the ball travels farther (this is contrary to what you would think, that heavy air would slow ball down) but it is a scientific fact. Of course the batters have to hit the ball before it can travel anywhwre

Burba will give up his 5 to 6 runs as he has the past month......he doesn't have a good out pitch to get BoSox out......u need a good breaking ball and Burba's has sucked.......wind is blowing out to center and right, the part of the Jake that carries the best at jacob's Field......also, it has been raining off and on though it is supposed to stop, but the grass is still wet.....that would make me lean to Over as knuckleballers have trouble throwing a damp, wet ball. It is harder to have no spin on a ball you can't get a solid, dry grip on.....Tribe bats have been hot also..... Over 10.5 is the way I am going.....7-5 Cleveland

Play the Redsox!! A knuckleball knuckles more in humid air and also when the winds blowing out...cause the pitcher is throwing into the wind ....it dances a little more.

Plus Cleveland doesn't hit knucklers very good.

Good Luck!
