dont usually like to play games this early in season, like to see teams play a handful of games before diving in but this one caught my eye tonight.

Evansville -4.5

Evansville returns basically an entire team which includes Balentine who is absolute class.

Unless Miami OH learned how to seriously defend inside the arc in the last 3 days, Evansville will give them fits with a very good scoring lineup. Last season they were very bad as far as opponents FG % goes and they havent shown much in their 1st game that there has been a significant change.

Redhawks need a serious improvement in the 58% they let Southern Utah shoot on Sunday from inside the arc, or for the Purple Aces to go ice cold from the floor. The options Evansville has though should make it a rather difficult task for Miami OH.

Good to see you posting winners again. Best of luck !!

thanks fcp, and you as well.

what do you think of the Broncs tonight?

really taking a hard look at them because Oakland pretty much lets anyone and everyone score at will. shame they dont have totals for all these games early in the year.

WMU has some firepower though and doesnt need any help from the weak Oakland D.

Brown comes back after getting his 6th year of eligibility, and Tava and Richie are a force as well.

Losing the big body Wittington inside hurts, but this team turned it on late last year and only lost once prior to the NCAA tourney from February onward. they get back that core group, I really think they will light up the scoreboard tonight vrs. Oakland.

problem is, Oakland can light it up themselves.

ah well, going to try it anyway, WMU +2

Sorry, didn't see this but you were right. Western has some boys that can flat out put the ball in the hole. I think that their destiny is 2nd place in the west behind Toledo.

Very nice work tonight on your plays as both were very comfortable wins. I love those no stress victories.
