Thanks for the kind words brother :0008

cruncher is the man when it comes to UK sports... he can give you a pretty good in depth analysis of the Cats

But right now I like the Ville as well... They are the better team... they have a solid D and should be improved on offense... Plus I give them a solid advantage in the coaching category... Although the Big East isn't very strong this year, L'ville has a pretty solid shot at winning the conference this year

Cant wait for it

Cant wait for it

I have Boise 58th in my power ratings right now, right between Illinois and Vanderbilt....they have lost so many playmakers on both sides of ball last 3 years, I think they are 34-17 roadkill in this one.

GLTU, your college takes and views are always topnotch

Louisville will be good no doubt, I just think they 'really' play well when they have their backs up againt the wall. I'll just be watching.

Provided they are not bitten by the injury bug again I think Tennessee could be the most improved team in the league this year, along with your guys Corley, and maybe Florida. This may be the longest off-season in my life it seems and my guys aren't supposed to be so hot. Oh well, I'll just have to adopt some teams then.

Tennesse has the QB WR's and OLine to have a very high powered offense... but like you said, they have to avoid the injury bug...

Florida should be really good on D and the O should be ok... Definitely going to contend for the East

I just hope MSU's offense starts clicking early... Very anxious to see this team :toast:

They all look really good... Russell is very quick with getting the ball off... This is his 4th year in the system along with the majority of the WR's so chemistry shouldn't be an issue... Perkins looks good but he has a lot of company and speed competing for his position... Losing Ballard and Relf hurts but the RB's are deep this year

I saw Nebraska mentioned on the first page of this thread (would have loved a shot at -12/-13). Line seems to be settled at -17.5 for now. I feel this is still a very solid play. USM only returns 2/7 up front and I just think the Huskers will mash this team and you're going to see Burkhead, Martinez and co. ripping off 6-7 yard runs with regularity.

On the other side of the ball, you have a VERY green QB making his first career start in a very hostile environment without a whole lot of help, either up front or at the skill positions.

I have a sneaking suspicion this game gets really, really ugly.

This will be a learning experience for a relatively young Golden Eagle team...

They will have a solid running game, but Nebraska will be able to stop it

Considering all this, it seems a little odd to me that the line opened under 14, considering So Miss is playing at tradition rich Nebraska. But if So Miss lost that much, plus I think their head coach, then I've got to feel as you guys do. I do remember the days that no SEC team really wanted to play them.

Another one I'm looking at is the A&M/LaTech game... I really like LaTech in this spot... They are catching way more points than they should be

I absolutely LOVE this game. This will be a rare early season large wager for me. IMO La Tech is going to win this game straight up. I'll be on them plus the points and on the M/L. A&M is going to be bad this year. They'll be damn lucky to go 6-6.

A&M lost their starting QB and will be starting a soph at QB, who is learning a new, complex offense. They also lost their best RB, best WR and several key defensive players. Its on the road against lowly La Tech, A&M is playing Florida the next week in the SEC home opener, they have all new coaches, new schemes and La Tech is a senior laden team with eight starters returning on offense, including a very good QB and WR.

When Kevin Sumlin was the head coach at UH last year, La Tech was ahead of the Coogs 34-7 at one point, only to lose 35-34. This was with all-everything Case Keenum at QB, and A&M will have a very green QB this go-round. La Tech is very familiar with Sumlin's offense and they won't be intimidated by the Ags. The Bulldogs with this game IMO. I am hammering this play as soon as it opens, as I expect the line to move against La Tech.

La Tech is a very salty team. TCU thought they could sleepwalk through the bowl game against them and alnost lost. La Tech is going to surprise the Ags. Don't know if they'll win, but will definitely cover.

What is the line on this one? I haven't seen one yet.
