Regular season finally almost upon us. Here are a few of my early looks.

I cant' wait for the team totals to come out later this week. Will be hoping for a good total on the Miami game as R.W. could run all over the lions. Will also be looking at the colts total also. Will be back later in the week to update. Best of luck to you all.

The totals have been out for 2 days.

If you're looking for single-team totals and can't find them they're easy to figure out. Just take the game total, add the spread, and divide by 2. You have the favorites' team total there. Then subtract the spread from that, and you have the underdog's team total.

ie. Indy -3?, 44?
...gives you Indy 24, Jax 20?.

You'll be within a half point doing that anyways.

Alright, the night we have all been waiting for. Between fantasy football and gambling, this will be a busy winter. ( hopefully very profitable as well ) Let's get things started with the 49ers.

SF - 3.5 (3 units)
SF team o 21 ( 5 units)

SF clearly the better team here. Better QB, better receivers, and a better RB duo of Hearst and Barlow (Barlow will have the starting job by seasons end). Barber and Dayne both somewhat banged up and will play, but not at 100%. Shockey could pose problems for the SF defense with the intermediate passing game, but it will not be enough. (he's not 100% either, but I'll take him at 80% compared to some of the other TE's in the league)
Outcome: 27-17 San Franciso

I will keep posting results and plays on this thread throughout the weekend to help keep congestion down. Before long, Madjack will have his own golden arch with the " over 1 billion served" below. Best of luck to everyone.
