The SCOPE: Did anyone not watch HARD KNOCKS? Matt Ryan has taken on the role of LEADER for this Falcons team. He has one of the best WR corps in the League. New RB Donte Freeman is an undersized burst of run you over or break your ankles energy. The Falcons should try to establish a running game to bring the safeties up a few steps and give White, Jones & Douglas more single coverage looks deep. That's great! The Saints have Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, Pierre Thomas, Mark Ingram, Kenny Stills, Colston and newcomer that's sure to turn heads, Brandin Cooks. This one could get ugly if the Atlanta D-Line doesn't get pressure, which is expected to be their weak spot.

The SCOPE: So let me get this straight? the Vikes have the best QB, the best WR and the best RB in this game and are over 3 point dogs?!! Too much respect for the Rams D, especially given the fact that they have a huge question mark at QB!

The SCOPE: Big Ben's control of the Steeler Offense is too much for the Browns to handle. However, I see Hoyer playing well, despite limited premium targets at WR, to keep Manziel at bay for the most part. Higher scoring than the experts think. I'm leaning 28-20 Steel City.

The SCOPE: Dalton got paid way too much. he better earn it. His decision making should be sensational this year given the payday he got. With Green, Bernard and very good tight Ends at his disposal, he's poised for a big year!

Line: Bears -7 O/U: 47.5
The SCOPE: Jay Cutler has the best WR/TE Group in the National Football League. He has a cannon. They'll score tons of points this season. BUT NOT WEEK 1! The Bills running game will be a problem for Chicago. Throw in the threat of Manuel's legs and the Bills could keep Chicago off the field more than people think. I see a close one.

The SCOPE: RGIII may be back, but he won't feel like running wild against Watt, Clowney and especially headhunter Swearinger! Fitzpatrick is intelligent, he just hasn't had many offensive weapons around him in the past. He does now.

The SCOPE: It's ANDY REID, ALEX SMITH & a Defense led by DERRICK JOHNSON vs. JAKE LOCKER and no running game! You figure it out!

The SCOPE: Tom Brady vs. Ryan Tannehill. No Wes Welker. No Blount. But, oh wait, sounds like Gronk is back. That's great, but Miami's D will be one of the league's surprises this season.

Also, going ahead and laying a 2* Play on Tampa Bay -3. If CAM is indeed out, this line will jump like Jordan. If he plays, the return of the true TAMPA D will be too much regardless, especially with no WR threats for Carolina!
