Jags/Texans
The debut of Meyer as an NFL head coach and the most hyped rookie qb in Lawrence today. Some how the Jags are a 3 pt road favorite which means they would probaly be a 6 pt home fav and I just don't see it. The Texans lost JJ in the off season and will most likely struggle on the defensive side of the ball. They will also be without disgruntled qb Watson and have a new HC as well but there are enough veterans on the Texans side line and Tyrod Taylor is a serviceable qb who has won in the NFL. Give me the points in a divisional game on opening day.

Fitzmagic time in Washington. I look for Washington to be a playoff team this year again, except this year they will be a playoff team with a winning record. They have an outstanding pass rush and upgraded there secondary in the off season. Love the direction the Chargers are going and Herbert looks like the real deal but the 1pm west to east game, the new HC and OC in LA and no preseason reps for many of the Charger players turn me away today.
