Week 1 PICKS (goin out to Vegas next week so I need some help)

OK jackers,

My wife and I are going out to Vegas next week for Labor day weekend 9/2-9/7. Woo hoo, well I need some help here because the first weeks pics have never been my strong suit if you know what I mean. Here is what I like in week 1 so far. Please give any opinions....

E Michigan -6
Mississippi -3
Syracuse +12.5
Fresno St +4
Miami -2.5

Any opinions would be mucho appreciated!!!!

Haven't fully capped the slate -- but I have a strong lean to Ole Miss -3 right now.

Of those, the one I like most is Ole Miss. The one I like least is Miami. FSU could easily win outright, and I think they will.

Ole Miss should be ready to give Memphis a little payback, especially with home cooking.

A game to consider is Rutgers over Mich St. Line has gone from +9 to +6.5. I bought the half today and have Rutgers +7. I wouldn't be surprised if Rutgers wins this game outright as a home dog. They are more experienced than Mich St and possibly more talented as well.

I agree with ny reb on the miami play. for some reason, fsu just appears to be the better team in pretty much all aspects of the game. they should win this one outright. like your miss play. still a quality team!!

Ok after looking at the board and opinions a litlle bit I have modified my picks a little bit and here they are. Leaving tomorrow so any good advice would be helpful Jackers....

KNeifl, careful with Ole mIss. If you play it, play it small. The Memphis team that beat Ole miss last year was good on offense and on D. They BETTER on offense this year. Wimprine is excellent, Williams is the most under-rated RB in the country( i would not be surprised if he leads the country with all purpose yards at the end of the yr!!!) They are very talented at the WR position as well. D is the ? but with Coach Joe Dunn anything can happen and probably will) Eli Manning was the only reason Ole miss was close in this game last yr. This IS the biggest game of the yr for Memphis without a doubt. IMO i would not touch this game, but as always GL with your plays!
