Minnesota - 3 (-120)

Tennessee is sure getting a lot of hype this off season, by all accounts they have a very promising draft but let's not get carried away here, this was a bad football team last season, they have added some players but they should be over matched here. The Vikings have very few question marks and a very solid D. Last season Mariota had great games against the likes of the Saints and Jags but he will struggle against a unit this stout. Vikes aren't going to be a big offesive juggernaught but you know what you are getting. They will be running the ball with Peterson and an improved offensive line. Teddy will dink and dunk being the game manager and trying not to turn the ball over. Vikings are set across the board and should easily defeat a Titan team who is a year a away..

Vikes 24
Titans 13

Well they aren't playing a juggernaught. I have a lot of faith in this team cause they have a lot of telant and are very well coach and yes last year they were abysmal at San Fran. Hoping the end of last season has left a sour taste in their mouths with fire in the belly

Also they have far less question marks than the Titans.

Local and national guys are saying Teddy looks more poised, he has needed much interjection between plays from Offensive coordibator Norv Turner like he has in the past. It sounds like he is taking control of the team from the huddle to the snap and is very decisive. Now lets see if that is the case or if it is propaganda

Bleed....what's your take on AP this season fantasy wise? Not sure if you even do it, but I know you know the Vikes!! Are they going to use AP like they always have? He's dropped a bit in the rankings cuz of his age I'm sure, so is getting him a steal you think if he fell to me?

If it's a ppr league I would have ap bottom of first round, if not ppr then I would say top 6. Who knows really what the Vikings offense will be, I expect them to spread the ball better with an improved line and having more time to throw, that being said AP rushed for 1500 yards last year behind a banged up make shift line, I I'm thinking 1500-1800 yards and you know he's getting the ball at goal line. Injury would be my only concerns -

I'm glad you would pass, just busting your balls, I too had those concerns, but when I look at the lines this looks better than every game I have seen this far maybe something else will stick out but like I said I expect Mariota to really struggle in this one

Thanks! Yea it's PPR....he's been going a bit late behind 4-5 other RBs. Was concerned about his work load from last season. Very high % of backs who get 300+ touches the previous season regress the next season by a lot fantasy point wise. APs in that category this season. Their offense is a bit concerning being more conservative at least we think. But it's AP and he's proven everyone wrong almost every season when we think his production goes down. Health is a concern with any player. I'm leaning he's a steal if he's there late matching him up with an elite WR with 1st selection!

Jack had told me you were near Duluth, MN, Just curious where you were and what you seen?

Yeah I stayed in Duluth 2 days on my tour thru your state. Drove as far north as I could from Tulsa (where Dead Money helped me out tremendously dealing with some family crap) and stayed in tiny Warroad a few days, then Duluth and then Minneapolis. I thought you were closer to Minneapolis - by the time I got info from Jack I had already left Duluth. Are you there or a smaller town nearby?

What did I see? I saw a state that seems to know what it's doing. Keep up the good work!:0074

After back-to-back seasons with only 14 touchdown passes, Bridgewater?s development as a passer will be crucial to Minnesota?s chances of making a Super Bowl run. Despite the extra attention running back Adrian Peterson commands, Bridgewater has failed to make defenses pay, only averaging 7.2 yards per attempt. Until that figure improves, Bridgewater will remain as one of the league?s worst starting quarterbacks.

As long as there is AaronRogers.. Teddy will be sucking dust. The Packers are the Packers and the Vikings are the Vikings.
Green and Gold seem loaded.

No offense hammer we are asking the Vikings to beat Tennessee by 3 and not win the Super Bowl. Teddy's progress thus far is not an indication on him IMO, it's an indication on the players around him, even Rodgers can't turn straw into to.gold, his offensive line cracked, receivers couldn't catch after they started 6-0 he was irrelevant other than a hail Mary or 2, green and gold always loaded offensively on paper but the defensive front 7 will kill them against good teams until they see improvement, also check out packs road record against teams over.500 past few years, it's bad

teddy has had the least amount of time to throw over any qb, he's not a big gunslinger but he had top 5 pocket presence and he has needed it, no go to receiver and no running Game, offense has been a mess

I have Tennessee straight up, but will take the points. Lol
Teddy is dogshit. I was the one that said minny stole him late in that first round.
He can't read a d, and his arm is weak. Around week 7 minny will relize that they need a qb of the future.
The child beater won't be there forever, and they have to start thinking about getting a qb to get those young stud wr's the ball consistently.
Minny will be 9-7 or 10-6 if everything falls right.
Imo. Good luck this year purple.

you are a big Homer, Teddy isn't the greatest but he's far better than horseshit.i don't know exactly what Peterson's long term status has to do with opening week. so I have read how you don't like Teddy,I'm curious to read what you like so much about Tennessee in this game?

also you have vikes 9-7 just curious who you think the 7 losses are to?

Homer? I'm not from Tennessee!
I think week 1 is a bad spot for minny.
The best team in the nfc is coming to open up the new stadium in week 2 and I think minny will be looking ahead.
I have Tennessee 20-13 in week 1. Imo.
Teddy Bridgewater is dogshit. Fact.

Minny 7 losses?
Tenn.
Gb. Twice
Caro.
Arizona.
At jax.
And 1 of these.
At chi. At Der , giants or indy.
I can objectively say 8-8 unless they play some teams with injuries or nothing to play for late in the season.
Minny has a fairly hard schedule.
Qb's mean everything and in almost every game minny plays they have the worst of the qb's.
Philly is the only team with a worse qb on there schedule.
