Season:0-0

Hello Boys!

Nice to see all the familar names and top cappers in this forum already locked and loaded with their plays.

Here's what I have for opening week....

Miami Ohio -2.5 (-130) L

Pretty cut and dry.. Vandy has lost too much talent from last years team and Miami brings back a nice mix on both sides of the ball. The home crowd along with a solid defense gets it done.

Baylor +13 (-130) L

Kinda a risk here. Taking a shot under new head coach Art Briles. A new start with a fresh face might be enough to motivate the 9 returning starters on offense to keep this one closer than most think.

Stanford +4 (-130) W

More of a play against Oregon State than a major vote of confidence for the Cardinal. The Beavers are a less than stellar 1-10-1 ats their last 12 Sept games and somehow Harbaugh keeps them in this one.

Utah+4 (-120) W

Great matchup here. Michigan is ALWAYS over rated as most Big 10 teams are and they better not sleep on the Utes. Utah's defense will keep them in this game and with 8 starters comming back on an offense lead by Johnson and Mack, watch out!

Kent State +10 (-120) L

Too many question marks for the Eagles in my opinion. This isn't the stacked team coah jagodizinski took over last season. Kent State had NO CHANCE last year with all the injuries and I expect a much improved team first time out.

E. Carolina +10 (-120) W
What's not to like? 5-2 ats last year as a dog and brining back 16 starters!! Va tech very over valued here....

Bama +4.5 W

Clemson seems to have a problem stepping up in the "big game" and even with all the hype surrounding them this year, I think they might struggle a bit against the Crimson Tide. Saban has had all off season long to prepare for this one and with one year under his belt with those 15 returning starters, they might not need the points.

SMU +4 (-120) L

I know they lost 10 straight last year. I also know they were in most of those games. (losing 3 in ot) Only lost to Rice by 1 point last year and oh yeah...They have a new coach June Jones.

I will be wagering 5% of my College Football bankroll on each and every game this season.

Good Luck Players! Let's make it another profiitable season!!:00hour

Still bumbed about that NC State total last night... That first half was not fun to watch...

Friday Night total....

Over 69.5 SMU/Rice (-120) W

Think this one will be entertaining from the get go. Several good trends point the scoreboard getting lighting up this evening.

Good luck players....

The Nightcap....

Illlini/Mizz Under 60 (-120) L

Follow the Illini very close. This is the best defense they've had in years. Last years final score is a bit misleading as Illinois came from WAY BACK pulling out all the stops to take that total as high as it went.

Good luck my peeps!

Season: 8-7 (54%)

Well, picking them pretty much as a coin flip thus far....Going to give these a shot for Sunday.

Kentucky +4 (-120) W
Under 56 (-120) W

Like the under here for the same reasons I like Kentucky. Three words SEC. This isn't the potent Cardinals offense we've seen in years past and even with the question at QB,Kentucky has more depth from top to bottom on both sides of the ball. Only chance the Cardinals have in my opinion is to step it up on defense.

Colorado -10 (-130) W

Going with the new coach angle here. Think State coach Farichild will have his hands full going up against the big instate rival first time out. The Buffaloes lost a bit, but if the coaches kid can keep his head out of his ass and limit his mistakes, this one could get ugly. Don't forget, these boys beat both Oklahoma and Nebraska last year.

good luck everyone.....
