Im Leaning Baylor But 6 not 3.5 Not a whole lot of value- Tcu has 4 High school 4stars and 2 5 star players on d with alot of speed i think the game is to close- but sharp money is def on baylor. but i really do like that under
Let me give my two cents. Baylor lost the only WR that got behind TCU's defense last year. They have no running game besides RGIII right now.
Baylor's defense is trying to run TCU's 4-2-5 this year with players that can't run it. They lost their top 5 tacklers from last year. When Phil Bennet took over the Pitt defense they went from being ranked 7th to 31st in his first year. It takes time to get the right guys to run the 4-2-5. They lost some key backups during the Fall.
And remember, A&M were horrible on defense when they tried to install the 4-2-5 defense because they didn't have the right players.
Now, Casey Pachall is a new starting QB but has been in the system for three years. TCU has 4 returning RBs that had playing time last year. Leading WR Josh Boyce is back. WR Skye Dawson dropped track to focus on football this year and reports are that it helped. He's bigger, stronger and has developed a connection with Pachall. The freshmen WRs are said to be coming along nicely as well.
The only unknown is how will this OL work together. Most have previous playing time, but only one real starter among them. If this was a rematch with Wisconsin, I'd be worried. But living here in Waco gives me daily reports on how Baylor is doing and I don't see anything to be worried about.
