YTD 151-129-7 +21.74 Units

Friday night play -
Cal -4 for 3 Units
UW is off yet another huge home win and when they have these emotional games at home, they really tail off the following week. Lets face it, this Huskies are nails at home and pretty average on the road. I will take the home team in this one!

MSU -1.5 for 2 Units
This Spartans defense defends the run and the option soooo well! Huskers arent nearly the team on the road that they are at home, while MSU gets back home after 2 tough roadies at Michigan and Wisky. I like how MSU matches up with Nebraska in a low scoring affair.

I know I said dont bet on this crew after their home loss to IU but OSU cant defend at all and really struggle with mobile QB's, you can go all the way back to the Cal game at home and IU on the road. Far too many points after OSU got a win against their rival at PSU. I will gladly take the points.

ISU +10.5 for 3 Units
Cyclones are good for one huge home upset a year and getting double digits at home against a Sooners team that is in a major letdown spot. Teams that sink so much energy into a big game like OU did last week, the attention to detail isnt anywhere near as close as it was the week before. Now OU has to go on the road and try to regroup against a Cyclone team that will be jacked up for this one. ISU will be the team that pays close to attention to detail all week getting ready for a ranked team to come to their house! Love them in this spot!:0074

Troy +18 for 4 Units
Vols return home after playing 4 straight ranked teams in UGA, Miss. St, Bama and SC. They lost all 4 with 3 of those 4 coming on the road. Troy and the Vols have one common opponent on their schedule in Miss. St. Troy held their own losing by 6while the Vols lost by 10. Give me the points here as the Vols will have a massive letdown here.

UConn +8.5 for 3 Units
Huskies are off the bye while USF has lost 6 in a row, some of them very close games but they cant finish and with Daniels the turnover machine at QB for USF there is no way I can take USF. UConn plays a very physical style game, something USF hates.......they are a very soft team! USF heading into their bye but I love the points here.

Look at New Mexico St guru

No way Auburn should be favored by a TD much less 22 over anybody. We're fn awful

Thanks for the heads up...........I looked at it pretty quickly but when you lay it out that way, it makes you wonder, 3 plus scores is alot and its an early start too.

Now that is AWESOME info!!!!:0074

Looking it at that way, it seems like a no brainer play. NM St. played La Tech tough on Saturday and this Auburn will be their bowl game. As bad as Auburn is, a win against an SEC school is something to use in recruiting. NM St. wont have Auburn attention, non conference game with a month to go in the season after playing so many tough games. NM St. though is 1-7 that is what is stopping me from hitting this one pretty hard!

Yes because ULM missed a FG.

Hate to steer anybody in the wrong direction but damn I just cannot see this team covering a 3TD plus spread against anybody.

If NMS scores 14-21,and I feel sure they will, there is no way they cover.

Great point on if NMS can score at least 2 TD's, they are golden!!:0074

CG, you have to get off the illini, bro. The program is a mess right now. Beckman, from everything I have heard, never really got the respect of the players. Before the Wisco game, I heard a bunch of rumors about nicknames the players have for him and what a joke the program has become under him (not taht it was good anyway). Bottom line, he has lost the locker room already. I was told to stay away from wagering this team at all costs. Sure enough they have lost 3 straight ATS since I was told these stories.

25 is a lot of points, but I would be surprised if we covered. I'm thinking like 52-14 or something

I think you have quite a few good sides there. I do believe Nebraska has been undervalued so far this year so getting 1 at MSU looks attractive to me...no play yet. No love for Illinois from me.

I also like ISU getting 11 at home. Disagree on USF as I love teams that drop in class and that certainly is the case with UCONN. That game probably will be close at the half but, I think USF has a good shot to cover.

I like Temple getting 15 at Louisville as the Cardinals are winning but, seem to be playing tight and I think Temple will contain the QB which is a key.

Baylor is laying 17 to Kansas and, again I love situations where decent teams drop in class, at home, after losses as I think we get some value in the line.

UNM opened at plus 3.5 at UNLV...I have to take that although the game appears to be down at some books so I will have to read the latest news. I'll be on N Illinois -35 versus UMASS.

Next level of potential plays include the heavy favorite trio of Ohio, Kent and Utah State. First look also includes Indiana laying 1.5 at home to Iowa, Colorado State getting 10 from under performing Wyoming and Fresno. Kansas State and Texas Tech opened on the list but, both lines have moved by at least 2.5 points.

Finally...I really do like Pitt at +17. Perhaps it is my N. Dame bias (at least I didn't lose money betting against them last week) but, Pitt has played much better, this is a big game for them and I do believe their RB is good enough to keep the chains moving.

Too many games at this point but, I have to read other threads (including yours), gather some local info and look up last years match-ups.

Good Luck.

I love some of the looks you guys are posting here. Thanks for helping me get started in some interesting directions. Guru - I'm wondering if there are any of your dogs that you don't expect to go up in value during the week - you already mentioned Ill going up? I was hoping to get some favorites early, but I'm with you guys on some of the dogs.

Bob - I had Pitt circled as a team to watch this week - I love them in this spot in a ND letdown situation. I also think Baylor is in a great spot here.

Good stuff guys!
