NFL Season Record updated: 67-44-1

7-3 ats last week after losing on Monday Night for the 3rd week in a row. Will try to get back on track with my first selection for this upcoming week.

St.Louis +3.5 Win
St. Louis M/L +167 Loss

It's always harder to bet a team in the 2nd match up of the season, even at home. After watching Monday Night Football, I'm convinced that Oakland is THE WORST team in the NFL. The Raiders wide outs seemed to be open all night long, but couldn't get the ball. Better QB and o-line for the Rams should be able to exploit the weak pass d of Seattle. The way I see it, the Rams are better at every skill position. Revenge mode for St. Louis & the biggest division game thus far. I expect an inspired effort .

Hey Mully I was just about to list the Rams as my pick in your weekly stongest play thread. I dont want it took look like I played your lean here so I will find something else to post there. I posted the Bills as my play last week. Noone else is ever on the same play as me but thats usually how I like it. Love the Rams here though as they wont get much public action especially after losing to the Chiefs at home and you know the old saying about winning on Monday.

Emersonbozzer. If St. Louis is your strongest play for this week, bye all means post it as such in that thread. We all have leans and plays we like. I'm glad to know you're on the same side.

Good Luck this week.

Steelers -5.5 Win

I think the Saints will get a reality check this week. Pitt isn't as bad as their record indicates. Turnovers have cost them just about every game. If Big Ben takes care of the ball & the defense plays inspired like they normally do at home, they should be able to handle the Saints by at least a td. I expect them to get back to Steelers' football. Pound it on the ground and control the field position. Pitt is 26-7 their past 32 as a favorite between 3.5 and 7 points.

Miami pk (-120) Win

Big win last week against Chicago. Very well could have been what they needed to turn their season around. This is a very streaky team and it wouldn't surprise me to see them rattle off a nice win streak. Back to back road games for KC. Got beat by Pitt by 38 points earlier in the year in this same situation.

Cinncy M/L +100 Loss

Last chance for the Bengals. Should find out if this team is headed to the playoffs or watching tv in seven weeks. Have to give them them the nod with the early kickoff and time change factor. MUST win for Cinncy heading on the road the next two weeks. Too many weapons ...Hope they wake up this week.

Green Bay +4.5 (-103) Win
Green Bay M/L +195 Win

Both coming off of road losses. I think the Packers need and want this game today more. A victory would put them in a tie for 2nd in the division with Minny. With half a season left and a week NFC, this game could mean the difference of making or missing the playoffs.

Ahman Green looks like he has regained in form and the Viking pass D can be had. The Packer defense will have to step up today for them to win, but I feel real comfortable getting more than a FG. Double revenge mode for Green Bay losing both of last seasons match ups by a FG.

Tennessee +7.5 (-123) pinny Win

Homecoming for Air McNair and he might be a bit overwealmed. Spent a career in Tennesse and I'm sure his emotions will be all over the place. The new sheriff in town will do all he can to make the fans forget about Steve. I'll by the hook for insurance, but think the Titians keep this one close all of the way. NO RAY LEWIS

Buffalo +13.5 (-115) pinny Win

Surprised to see this open up under 2 td's. I think the A-train will run wild on the poor rush defense of Indy and keep the Bills in this thing. It's always one of these match ups that the public takes for granted as an easy victory when something unexpected happens. Not saying Indy will lose, but feel it will be closer than most think.

Agree completely on the Tennesee play based on that premise----a QB needs to keep emotions in check, hopefully he will be over-motivated.
