harly - not sure what you mean by "BCS catch up play"

Only two teams can be in the BCS from the same conference. Unless Mizzou wins out and wins th Big 12 title game is has ZERO chance of going to a BCS game. They can win by 1 or 50 and it is irrelevant - as Mizzou well knows since they got hosed for the very same reason last year.

Chances are that Texas, Tech, OU and Okie State all have 0-2 losses (at most) and only two can get BCS bids..and could easily have 3 of the 4 with just 1 loss.

SEC could have the same problem with Alabama, Georgia, Florida.
