Wasn't going to put anything on the total, but I've seen some good cappers taking the over. I'll have to throw down when I get home later.

Well, the Rangers couldn't do it. Thanks for the support Corley. :0074

I played TCU -5.5. It's not going to be a blowout like last year. But I do have them winning by 7-10 points. OL guys that have been out with injuries will be available on Saturday. So, that doesn't concern me. The fumbles from last Sat do worry me some. Hopefully they have that fixed.

Last time in SLC, TCU did not have Jeremy Kerley available. He is the number one offensive weapon TCU has. He was sorely missed in the return game and at WR.

Defensively, TCU will have to watch for the long ball. This is one area that TCU has improved on. Oregon State and SMU were the only teams to really burn TCU all year. Since then, the CBs and Safties have stepped up. There's going to be hitting on both sides going on.

If this was a night game, I would say Utah had the advantage. However, the 2:30 pm Central start time helps TCU.

Good luck.

Joe, I watched Utah last week against Air Force and they weren't all that impressive. I would lean to TCU in this week's game, but the only thing that concerns me is that the game is at Utah.

I read somewhere that Utah was keeping it vanilla and that was the reason for the close game. Air Force is tough at home so I'll give them a pass. Utah paper quoted the coach as saying they will have the playbook open wide for this game.

Yes, very tough at RES, but day game helps TCU. That place was rocking at night in 2008.

I'm not too worried about the weather... I think there might be more turnovers if anything but neither team plays defense so whatever... :0008

Leans for this week:

S. Florida -10 USF being at home gets a big advantage from me... USF is the better defensive team and Rutgers has a young QB starting... I'm not sure why the line is so high but I'm thinking like NBA Kid here that this line is to keep people from getting on USF...

Georgia Tech +14 I'm thinking this will be a very physical game and GT's rushing attack will have success...

Clemson -3 Why on earth is Clemson favored here? This is the same team who lost to BC last week... Are you kidding me??? They are 4-4... But with all that being said, they are 4-1 at home... This game looks like a trap to me... I'll take the Tigers at home

Duke +1 UVA is coming off the HUGE win at home over Miami and now has to travel to Duke... Duke also coming off a win but not near as big as UVA plus Duke is at home... This looks like a letdown spot for UVA...

Louisville +6 This line looks too easy to take Cuse... They are coming off 2 big wins and playing way above expectations... Only giving up 6 points at home? Also looks like a public trap...

Michigan -3 I know Michigan has NO DEFENSE... But with that being said, they shouldn't be laying points to anyone... Especially after giving up 41 to a Penn St. team with NO OFFENSE... Illinois is the better team here...

Florida -14 Fla is coming off a big rivalry win but Vandy is banged up and bad... Really hurts that they lose their top rusher... Fla, although still looking for an identity on offense, still has a good D and gets turnovers... Gators by 17-21

Oklahoma St. -7 Baylor is coming off a big rivalry road win... Now they have to go play a team that has a TON of firepower on offense... Blackmon is back and I think he has a HUGE game... OK St by 2 TDs

Nebraska -18 Big road chalk but I think Nebraska is a refocused team after the Texas nightmare... Martinez will play this week and I think Neb wants payback after losing to ISU last year...

S. Carolina -3 SCar is good on both sides of the ball and like the fact they are at home... Arky lost a huge target in Childs and don't think they come out of here with a win

Some other ones....

TCU/Utah
Bama/LSU
ULL/Miss

Going ahead and jumping on USF... Love them in this spot tonight...

Hate being on the opposite side of you Corley. Last night, I was looking at taking O42, but this morning I'm leaning towards the under. Still have time to make a decision. Good luck.
