ill start off by saying, I cap everygame using a system that is universal for college and nfl....I take whatever spread I come out with after runnning through, and then any game that is significantly different then the line vegas has, i make a list of things i like and dont like...
I had this game as balty -1....like I said not me personally, but I dont question what comes out, I have always trusted it...
so now the reasons I like Oakland:
Palmer, he has been playing extremley well. My dad is a huge oakland fan, so I watch nearly all of their games. He is starting to build wonderufl rapports with streater/moore but ecspecially with his tight end Brandon myers...
carson palmer has thrown for huge yards all year regardless of opponent....Ravens can be had
I wasnt inlove with Baltimores D when lewis/webb were 100%...now that they are gone, that is a much bigger loss then most think.....webb ecspecially as far as pure skill....lewis obviously for leaderhsip....
jimmy smith is very easily beaten, and with the speed the oakland receivers have (and i mean all of them) they will be able to exploit the young corner I believe....he has a bright future, but a lot to learn...
Oakland has a very underrated WR corp
Mcfadden and goodson are out, but Tawain jones can play and marcel reece wll catch 9-10 balls out of the backfield and they will use that as part of their "running game"....
jones will have a good day, as baltimore is slashed and dashed most weeks, and I dont see it stopping this week magically......
I will say this, if Oakland makes some of their bonehead decisions that somegames they will make, and put themselvves behind the marker early or often, well that could change a lot...
but I think oakland wins the turnover battle, and actually shows up big this week....

What I really like, is that this same oakland team went into atlanta in week 5 i beleive, and had themselves a helluva day on both sides of the ball, playing one of the leagues best in one of the toughest environments....that type of game makes confidence sky high believing you can play with anyone anywhere when you have some young position players like the raiders do (moore, myers, streater, tawain jones)....
I think they show up ready to rock and roll, and hang around all game...
Iam wrong a lot so take all of that information and do what you want with it...
please dont lay off the ravens casuse of me...
causeI wouldnt be suprised at all if the ravens won 35-21 and covered easily....
