42-32-1 ytd
5-3 last week

Thurs night

I hate to bet against home teams playing in the primetime spot light.. but I cant find any reason to take miami. Here are a few quick stats for your consideration.

Bears play well on the road and have won 3-4 this season. Miami on the other hand is 1-3 at home.

Bears heald Minny to 240yrds total and had 3 picks. Peterson only had 51 yrds rushing.

Miami will try and rely on their ground attack but they only average 3.8 yrds a carry and bears are number 2 in run D I believe.

Chicago has given up a league low 6 passing TDs
They are second in fewest points and fourth in fewest yards.

Bears have been more balanced the last few weeks mixing in the run..

Not only is miami starting a 3rd string QB they have some bad injuries on the O line as well.. Jake Long tore his labrum and Center Joe Berger is questionable with a knee injury.

I think the defense and better health of the bears going up against a third string QB on a short week outway the home field advantage..

Bears smell blood tonight

Chicago +2

Gibber, I was going to play Miami until I saw your play on the Bears. I HATE betting on Jay Cutler, who is a turnover machine. Decisions, decisions!, lol!

44-32-1 Finally hit a teaser on Thurs!!

Shorter write ups today.. Have to squeeze these in while the baby is still asleep.
With the jags near last in defense normally i would make a play on Clev with the better D.. But Cleve has had to be up for some huge games the last four weeks... With a heart breaking OT loss I look for them to come in with a bit of a hangover this week.
Browns have proven that they are a team not to be overlooked. Jags wont get caught asleep at the wheel like NE did

Jags -1

Dallas wins 1 game and now they are -6 against the leagues number 5 passing O??? Not to mention they still have not won at home.

Dallas didnt beat the Giants.. The Giants beat the Giants.
Cowturds gave up 460 yrds last week and now their D line and DBs are banged up.

I think they get the W here cause of the better talent but they wont be able to stop Detroit through the air. Should set up to be a nice back door cover

DET +6.5

Love this one. Think da browns are better, but that 5 quarter loss to the jets vs rediculous finish for the jags, creates a situation here that I am hammering! GL

keep me coming - you the man. Remember the 10* - I still owe you a drink for those that year.:toast:

Haha ah yes.. Ill take a guiness black and tan please:SIB

Oak is a different team when they dont have the run game to mix things up. Pitt only gives up 63 rush yrds per game. I like them to bounce back after getting embarrased last week.

Pitt -7

better lucky than good my pappy used to say..

Think the giants got caught looking ahead last week.
I still believe in their top rated D leading the NFL in yrds 270 per game.

Giants will ground and pound tonight.
