I don't sense much bite in the Huskies anymore. Cougs have to win this one to get bowl eligible. They'll pull it off and cover.

14. USC (-6) over California (1 unit)

Count me convinced. USC should win this game easily. Very impressed with USC who appears to be headed back to the National Championship.

Last 5 to round out the card for the weekend. Total 19 plays for the weekend (2-2 so far). 15 for Saturday.

15. Arizona (+14) over OREGON (1 unit)

Now that Tuitama has returned, the whole Wildcat team plays well. Their strategy vs. Cal last week was almost flawless. Tight coverages and some harassment worked for USC against the Ducks last week and I think the Cats have the talent to do much of the same.

16. Oregon State (-14-1/2) over STANFORD (1 unit)

The Beavers had UCLA snuffed offensively last week, but coughed up the ball on 4 critical occasions. The Beavers will be back, pissed off, and wanting to take their frustrations out on Stanford, who is still reeling from the experience of winning a game in Seattle for the first time in 35 years. Also, Stanford knocked the Beavers out of a bowl near the end of last season beating them 20-17 in Corvalis.

17. Idaho (+10-1/2) over FRESNO STATE (1 unit)

If the Bulldogs are going to be everyone's punching bag, fine with me. This is a big game for the Vandals and I think Erickson will throw Fresno State all he's got. It would mean a lot to this rising bunch of guys to steal one from Fresno State.

18. Idaho/FRESNO UNDER 52-1/2 (1 unit)

I like the low here because 52-1/2 looks like a lot of points for Fresno to put up their share and then also expect Idaho to score much on the road too. 24-17. That kind of game with Idaho hanging around most of the time.

19. Washington/WSU UNDER 43 (1 unit)

I don't see the Huskies turning their offense around vs. the Cougs. And, if anything, the Coug defense has been the one consistent thing about that team this year. WSU's defense has allowed 20 points just 2 times this year.
