Here's a few others:
I will be on ASU, Mississippi State and Stanford...I think Taylor will have over 200yds in total offense and I'm going to have a dollar or two on the ML too.
I like Vandy (-4) coming off a come-from-behind loss over Tenn coming off a lost-from-ahead game in four OT's. Dooley is on life support and I don't see Tenn with a rally cry of "Let's beat Vandy to save the season" when their big games used to be versus Floriday or Bama. Fans won't be interested and the Vandy fans have been waiting years to make fun of their hired help (mostly Tenn grads).
I'm going to wager on OK State (-10.5 although I will buy to 10 today). I think they are a very good overlooked team and, just like WSU, Texas Tech has their mind on other matters this week. OK State is constructed much like OK (they may be better) and the Sooners were able to handle TT easily. I do apreciate the fact that TT plays hard but, when adversity hits, are they still totally behind Tubberville?
I'm going to take Wisky -3 versus OSU. I really like Monte Ball and the QB change seemed to work. This is only OSU's third road game of the season...one a close but, impressive win over Penn State and the other a 3pt win at Indiana. If you look at the teams they've played, none of the wins are impressive other than versus Neb and I'll give them Penn State. For those interested in such things, it also makes sense that (perhaps) the Big Ten does not want the record tainted of one of the teams in their championship game...I'm just sayin'.
Smaller plays for me will be Northwestern +4 versus MSU (NW has lost four straight to the Spartans), UNC -4 over Virgina as the Tar Heels ride the momentum of holding their last opponent under 70 and if Northern Illinois is playing, I will bet on them until further notice especially in a situation where they get national exposure off a bye week.
Good luck this week.
