Let's see -

Opps, almost fotgot - last weeks record? Well, looks like 4-3 for the listed ones and that includes the "added" Army game with that there UNlucky late game stuff I write about. That record also includes a 2 UNIT bet on the Cent. FLA like I wrote as well. Sure was wrong about that there gut feeling about the late games, thems sure a hell didn't go my/ Chruch's way.

Week 13 so far

Miami - 11 1/2 or -12 (some places): I didn't do any figuring (Chrunch) for this game; this one is all on me. IF I didn't have such bad luck too often when betting some "real' money" (like ..er..... $110 to pick up a C note), I'd do it for this this game. I haven't bet that on any game this season so far and intend to keep it that way. I've watched two full games for each of these teams and the stats also back up my opinion about this game. I searched this and other forums for reasons why the spread is so low, IMO anyway. Reasons I'm finding is stuff is like - Miami won too many due to turnovers (HUH?, thems caused the turnovers), they don't like cold weather (45 - 50 degs. cold?), recent injuries (none are with key personnel, BTW), Pitt won outright games as a sizeable dog.

C'mon, these sound like devout Panther fans or maybe Cane Haters, ah.. like me. But I do like moola and I'll have to watch this as a "money makin madman" and not a fan. I've already played 4 parlays already and 3 (two of them are only 2-teamers) of them parlays and 2 only need Maimi to cover in order to cash. BTW, I wrote about using mixed sports in parlays, ESP in 3 teamers. The one that won already was a col. BB, col. FB, and an NFLer. I add an occasional col. BB game and I'm having some luck with them and I will post the Basketballers that are in the parlays in them if somebody wants to see it [/b]. Hopefully, nobody will, as usual, and that means less typing for me. :mj07:

Tex. State/Troy: OVER 49, it opened at 48. A number of reasons but lets just break it down to -> both teams can score and defenses are weak, weather should be perfect, just check out who they played and the scores; expecting Bobcats to put up at least 14 pts worth and Troy the rest. Crunch likes State with the points here and I do also but I'm on the OVER and that's the pick here.

Iowa -4 vs. Neb: They were a disappointment in their last two games but how can you not go with a team like the Hawkeyes vs. a team that's dead last in defense in the Big 10. Have to mention that Iowa is 0-4 ATS away and Neb. gets a bit of a better edge in their house than most teams, and I'll be using this one in a parlay and that means I'll also buy a pt. to make it -3. If I played this as a single bet I WOULD accept -4 and that is the no. for the record.

More to come very late tonight.

So far - so good but not quite perfect

So far - so good but not quite perfect

Thanks for stopping in, Pd. I forgot that you do visit my threads and it's always good to see that. Hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday.

I'm way behind doing the footsball homework and I should have some mo picks before the games start. I do keep weird hours. Looks like Troy sure as hell kept up their end asfaras going OVER goes, did they ever. - Wiener

Iowa?... ... I just LUV both IOWA teams , Univ. and State. Wiener

Now for the PITTS.... ...

I wrote here that I keep 3 lists that act like notes to me, that is - how certain teams have treated me over the past 2 or 3 seasons. List 1 1 is titled "GOOD TEAMS" and this list has teams that I seem to understand well and have treated me very well whenever me and the Chruncher pegged one of them for a play. I usually will put 1 and a half units instead of one unit on a team from this list. List 2 is "Teams to FADE" and this list is teams that are just terrible and like above, whenever Chrunch and me happen to peg a team that is playing one of these poor teams, the bet is for an additional half or full unit on that team.

Now for List 3, "Teams to AVOID" this is a list of teams that means --> Don't play any game with these bastages in it. That is, these teams almost ALWAYS loses/fails to cover when I play them and wins/covers ALMOST every freakin time I fadem. Guess what - THERE'S ONLY ONE FREAKIN TEAM ON THIS LIST AND THAT TEAM IS .. the PITTSBURGH PANTHERS.Pittsburgh killed 3 winning plicks for me (2 parlays, a 2 and 3 teamer)

Why did I play that game? Well, it just looked so dang easy to me. :00x33

Right now, I have one mo PLICK but I think, instead of adding one at a time, I'll just come back here well before the games start and post the remainder of today's plays.

BTW, how bout that So. FLA/Cent. Fla. game? I made sure that I'd watch that one today, REALLY had a lot of interest in that game cause I been following both of those teams lately, that doesn't mean betting on either of them. Liked seeing either of those two previous failing Florida squads rising above Fla and Fl. State in the rankings and ESP. Cent. Fl. getting the attention they deserve. Would have luved to bet on one of them, but there was no way I could figure out who would prevail.

Be back later today.

Wow, Multi Sign Ins and a great day too

Wow, Multi Sign Ins and a great day too

Celebration time at Jimbo's place... :fit01:

So far...
PITTS: bastages tricked me AGAIN LOSAH!
Iowa: I just LUV this team - Wiener!
Troy/Tex. St.: OVER - Wiener!
U Conn: Wiener!
North Tex.: Wiener

All were reg. line plicks, not Money Liners.

Boise St. : Dang, this one was one that me, not Chrunch, liked bestest and it ain't looking good right now. Had to bet other way second half to insure. I only played two of the above plays as single bets and they worked out really good (1 unit and a 2 1/2 unit bet on Chrunch's best of the day), BUT if Boise can cover "-6" for the game, I'll be cashing a 4 teamer for just short of a $100.. you know, chump change for some folks, but for me -> a bonanza. :00x8

And for doing such a good job for today's game, think I'll feed Chrunchy an extra dose of data next week. Yum, Yummy!

Thanks again sign-ins for letting me know you read this stuff.

Another UNbelievable TRUE story

Another UNbelievable TRUE story

Is it only me these things happen to? I wrote in my last post that I would check late game JUST TO SEE, if the Cruncher has anything of interest for the late games. I didn't ... BUT -

It's "confidence no." for the Utah St. game, late this evening, is "-2" and that means that it's confidence that the FAVORITE is gonna cover is MINUS 2. Translate that to it has a little (2 pts. on a scale the the UNDERDOG is gonna cover) get it? Now, I used to only look for high confidence for FAVORITES to cover and I wen over that before; now, I consider going with and underdog when something like this happens.

Here's the Ball Buster for this evening - GOOD THING, I went ahead and put the bet in on Utah St. M.L. One stinkin unit. I got off the computer for about an hour and decided I'd post this, but first check Dimes to see what my report for the day looked like. Damn it - Dimes took my id and password and just got hung up with the little thingy (cursor) spinning around. I'm not gonna bore yas with went on for over well over an hour regarding the prob. with Dimes it's a VERY LONG story. Check the General Forum cause I was there and seeing other MJer's are also posting about, "what up with 5 Dimes?" stuff.
Answer is a lot is up but don't worry, it looks fishy BUT IT ISN'T and all is well with DImes place. If you want to know more let me know and I'll write it.

OK, so Now it's time to check the utah st. game and they are looking good. Just want yas to know whats going one here and it is halftime now.. NOT suggest anybody bet anything. But there should be time to.

I am a little pissed that I couldn't get back here before the game started.

For the few mj PLAYERS that visited here

For the few mj PLAYERS that visited here

Haven't been posting here mostly because Bowl games haven't been so good to me over the past few seasons. NOBODY's, except maybe MJers' who visited my threads often, is gonna believe this but, me and Crunch put our heads together a LONG time ago for the bowl games and played something like 90% of them and covered ALL but 1 stinkin push and 1 losing stinker. The only game I can remember from that far back was that Boston College covered and it was in one one of the later or last bowl game. Also, most favorites covered in that bowl season, but me and Crunch did nail the dogs that covered too. I think the time frame for that amazing stunt was around 2000 and I did post plays on a different forum (Makers' place).

I started to play future bowls on and off since then and got pretty much creamed, Crunch just lost it's "mind" when it came to Bowls.

Notice that the parlays I play, like I wrote here, are MIXED sports and it's college BASKETS that is mostly responsible for the tremendous run I'm currently on. Since then, there isn't that much interest in this forum AND bowls ain't my thing.. so, I'm gonna give the MJ college HOOPs a go. I'm currently on the longest CONSECUTIVE winning streak I can remember except for the unreal bowl streak back then.

Look for "On a hellova roll" thread.

Ain't Christmas time wonderful? :)
