Let's see -
Opps, almost fotgot - last weeks record? Well, looks like 4-3 for the listed ones and that includes the "added" Army game with that there UNlucky late game stuff I write about. That record also includes a 2 UNIT bet on the Cent. FLA like I wrote as well. Sure was wrong about that there gut feeling about the late games, thems sure a hell didn't go my/ Chruch's way.
Week 13 so far
Miami - 11 1/2 or -12 (some places): I didn't do any figuring (Chrunch) for this game; this one is all on me. IF I didn't have such bad luck too often when betting some "real' money" (like ..er..... $110 to pick up a C note), I'd do it for this this game. I haven't bet that on any game this season so far and intend to keep it that way. I've watched two full games for each of these teams and the stats also back up my opinion about this game. I searched this and other forums for reasons why the spread is so low, IMO anyway. Reasons I'm finding is stuff is like - Miami won too many due to turnovers (HUH?, thems caused the turnovers), they don't like cold weather (45 - 50 degs. cold?), recent injuries (none are with key personnel, BTW), Pitt won outright games as a sizeable dog.
C'mon, these sound like devout Panther fans or maybe Cane Haters, ah.. like me. But I do like moola and I'll have to watch this as a "money makin madman" and not a fan. I've already played 4 parlays already and 3 (two of them are only 2-teamers) of them parlays and 2 only need Maimi to cover in order to cash. BTW, I wrote about using mixed sports in parlays, ESP in 3 teamers. The one that won already was a col. BB, col. FB, and an NFLer. I add an occasional col. BB game and I'm having some luck with them and I will post the Basketballers that are in the parlays in them if somebody wants to see it [/b]. Hopefully, nobody will, as usual, and that means less typing for me. :mj07:
Tex. State/Troy: OVER 49, it opened at 48. A number of reasons but lets just break it down to -> both teams can score and defenses are weak, weather should be perfect, just check out who they played and the scores; expecting Bobcats to put up at least 14 pts worth and Troy the rest. Crunch likes State with the points here and I do also but I'm on the OVER and that's the pick here.
Iowa -4 vs. Neb: They were a disappointment in their last two games but how can you not go with a team like the Hawkeyes vs. a team that's dead last in defense in the Big 10. Have to mention that Iowa is 0-4 ATS away and Neb. gets a bit of a better edge in their house than most teams, and I'll be using this one in a parlay and that means I'll also buy a pt. to make it -3. If I played this as a single bet I WOULD accept -4 and that is the no. for the record.
More to come very late tonight.
