Sides 30-26-1
Totals 30-27
ML 1-0 ( +170)

Early play for Thursday:

Hou +8.5

I fully expect a more unified effort from Texans after Andre Johnson/Cortland Finnegan fight. Texans still suck, but I have seen teams bond after the proverbial fire gets lit in weird incidents like that.

And Bears gave a peek as to how to slow down Vick.

Make no mistake, Kubiak will find a way to lose it late. Should be interesting battle of two of the worst clock managers in the game, Reid and Kubiak.

Though I am a nearly life-long Houston resident, I absolutely LOATHE the Texans, and always have. This pick is in no way to be misconstrued as a homer pick....far from it.

I bet you still miss the Houston Oilers with the good ole Bum Phillips and one of the best Earl Campbell.
I also can't forget Billy "White Shoes" Johnson :0074

I was one of those that wasn't particularly crazy about the Oilers, til the last year in town with Steve McNair, Eddie George, and Chris Sanders, a promising up-and-coming team which later would go to the Super Bowl as the Tennessee Titans, coming up a yard short of winning ( or tying ) it.

Billy White Shoes Johnson was a thrill though!
