The colts have more lucky covers than any 3 teams combined in the last 2 years.

The Jets are soooo bad. I only played them bc I couldn't fathom how they were favored. Bad play.

Thought maybe the line would keep dropping, but it doesn't look that way...

Seattle -5 3180-3000
FH -3 2120-2000

Gosh, I love fading a huge public doggie. Even more, I love fading high flying teams on the road. Teams like the Saints, who score a lot of points, and run up the score when they don't need to which leads to false perception of their dominance, are a great fade in big games. They simply aren't as good as people think. They win games by 20+, that most teams are content to win by 10-14. This doesn't make them better, only provides value to fade.

This line is beautiful too. They juiced it up probably 2 points too high, knowing the public would drool over Brees and the unstoppable Saints O... and drool they have. Seahags in a rout.... which will set up for a great fade next week at SF, where the Niners will wax them.

Glad you have this one all figured out, not only that you have next weeks figured out too :142smilie

Good luck tonight, i love fading a huge anti-public fav and high flying teams like the seahawks at home. Teams that beat up on weaker teams which leads to foolhardy perception of their true grit, these are just great fades. They juiced it up to dupe the drool crazy seahawk followers who think they are unbeatable at home, outdoors, in autumn weather against a dome team.

Not so fast, this one is too easy, but like i said GL.

lol, cute.

Not sure how much of this is serious or not. Either way, I don't really love this seahawks team at all. I can't wait to fade them next week. They are NOT high-flying and by no means, unbeatable. Love the spot.

Bad luck if you are actually putting money on the Saints tonight. Otherwise, GL in the rest of your plays that I am not against.

Hey Jord, love this play! I haven't been posting all year but seeing this I just had to post. You explained this play perfectly and for those who believe in win on Monday, lose on Sunday, the early lines say it all. Looks like San Fran is an early 3.5 pt favorite over Sea for next week. Conversely, the Saints are a comfy 4.5 pt home fav over a Carolina team that's won 8 in a row and has the leagues best defense. I'm looking at a sample size of 10,000 bets and the Hawks are taking only 52% of the action and a line that opened at 5 with the action split almost right down the middle is now up to 6.5. Something just isn't adding up there. I'm in total agreement, give me Hags-6 in an easy win and cover. Plus being on Raymond's side I feel even better about the play! GL tonight and thanks for posting. :0074

Great write ups in this thread as always...working on the game myself and looking at the angles...I do like SF next week as well and hope the line is juicy for a SF play.

My concern with Seattle right now is their secondary is in SERIOUS trouble and if NO goes no huddle....it will help take SEA out of their defensive rhythm. SEA may do what Pats did who took Jimmy Graham out with their best physical corner.

ANother Key is how Wilson plays....he has all the tools to buy the extra time and get his guys going to make plays. Losing Rice doesnt help...but they have capable WR's/TE's and a BEAST in Lynch to make plays and RIce wasnt even involved this season. Ryan will try and mix it up.....but bottom line Saints dont play nearly as well on the road and we all know what Seattle does at home.

I always look at line of scrimmage and ho will get the better of it tonight. Thru Football Outsiders....NO has the 3rd best offensive line stats in run blocking and 5th or 6th in pash coverage- Seattle run blocking is 9 and 31st in Pass protection?? On Defensive line....New Orleans ranks best at #1 and SEA is ranked 6th. So ...if I am reading this correctly New Orleans has the advantage on both offensive and defensive line play this season....

More to come.......as still doing some work on this game...just info I thought I would share with fellow MJ'ers!!

100% Agree that 49ers wax them next week. Was thinking the same thing regarding Brees tonight. Saints have looked like shit on the road of late, losing 2 of 3 and barely squeezing by ATL.

Should be fun game to watch- 2 elite NFL teams on Monday night in a great stadium!

I'm taking the points due to better line play of Saints and lack of secondary in Seattle. Lynch is a beast and it comes down to Wilson who is very capable of making plays. Think NO goes no huddle- gets Sproles involved and hit plays to Graham.

Seattle will win if Wilson does a great job managing the game and gets Lynch going....

Going to be fun!! :0074:0074:0074
