Week 13: 1-5-1, -3.65

It's a miracle I got the push, FIU's offense didn't score a point.

Georgia Tech +14.5

Thanks Rusty, that's all I really needed to know. The first 5 or 6 columns to the far left is just a power rating broken down in different categories. The first ones Overall (OV), Last 3(L3), and Conference(CN) just read top to bottom of course. The home/away, favorite/dog, have to be looked at diagonally. The stuff in the middle is just rankings of the different categories; rushing offense/defense, passing offense/defense, and total offense/defense, and the rankings that each team has faced in the middle of the rankings. PS is a predicted score.

Use your imagination if you like; average the rankings and/or rankings faced and see what it comes up with; it may or may not make any sense but it never hurts to experiment.

Almost afraid to ask but what is your assessment of the uk/ul game? When it comes to football i have a hard time keeping my heart out of it. 13.5 looks like a lot of points to me.

I'm the same way Big G and it's cost me a couple of times this year. Kentucky had a real brutal stretch and I think they were pretty beat up towards the end of the year. This is a game that they have got to at least 'show up' if they want any off-season self-respect at all. With a weeks rest they should be in a lot better shape, both physically and emotionally. Louisville has no real axe to grind, they know they are better than Kentucky and they beat Notre Dame last week. I don't think the loss of Gardner at QB for the Cards is a big deal. Gardner is the better passer but RB (can't spell Reggie's last name) is much more of a run threat. Wide out Parker and Cards defense is my biggest concern although I think they have been running the ball better lately. If things get out of hand Petrino would score a 100 if he could; I never have liked that devious smile of his and would like to see the Cats wipe it off, but it's a longshot. Somebody must think the Cats have a chance to cover though; from what I've seen the line opened at 14 and is 12.5 now.

Tailed you on lsu and gtech! Nice picks!!! Heartbreaker for the wildcats!! Seemed like we had all the momentum until bolin came in at qb. Disappointed and then neal brown gone...i was really excited about what he could do after 3/4 years.....now officially bball season. Lets get #9!!!

Let's do get #9! The QB going down turned out to be a huge break for Louisville. The dumb personal foul penalty on 3rd down that extended the TD drive for the Cards hurt big time also; just dumb crap all year long. I hate to see Brown leave also but who/whatever we get or do I just want us to be able to run the ball. We're getting some good skill people but we've got to get some top notch lineman for things to really change. Glad you were on the Tigers and Yellow Jackets.
