"Raiders coach Tom Cable told the Denver media during a conference call on Wednesday Charlie Frye would start at quarterback Sunday against the Broncos"
Frye has not played this year and worked strictly with Oakland?s scout team. His last start was for Seattle on Oct. 12, 2008, against Green Bay when he threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns.
Denver's woes in the red zone will be their undoing before to long..But not in the game..

Cincinnati reached 200 yards passing once in its last five games.
The loss of deep threat Chris Henry (broken arm) appears to have hampered Palmer and the Bengals. Since Henry was injured in a 17-7 win over Baltimore on Nov. 8, Cincinnati has scored five TDs in 63 possessions.

Chargers avg. 28 points a game..Don't expect to get that against a solid "D" but 23 will do.

The Lions also put running back Kevin Smith(notes) (left knee) and tight end Casey FitzSimmons(notes) (concussion) on injured reserve?the 14th and 15th players lost for the season?and released cornerback Jahi Word-Daniels(notes).
Lions are last in the vs the pass.
Cards will like the fast track and soothe their wouds .
Warner torches the Lions after lack luster performance last week.
