Wait…we have chips in footballs and ultra 24k HD cameras all over the fields and NFL HQ seems to buzz in and confirm calls at their convenience yet the crooked shit happens every week. 😂

Sports betting is deaddddddd…. Books made 14 billion last year. Hahahahha. No way they ever stop this gravy train. Leagues. Owners. Governments. All getting rich. (Well not governments , you can give them 100 trillion and they will still steal it and squander it )

Alllllll While Slumdog gettin poor. In the 80’s. 90’s. It was underground. There wasn’t a huge mechanism working in tandem to maximize profits. Bettors could find spots. Angles. Books never saw. Now they have the technology, algos besides the biased rigging by nyc and the refs. Etc. now having said all this. I wish I was this guy !!! Except with a dime on it !! 😂

you're so right Slum, why not bet at least $25 on near anything... that'd be worth over 400k!

I know you're aware of this Slummy, but please allow me --

1) When playing a parlay, I try to remember to put a game all by itself for the Final Leg of the play!
Whether that's the Sunday night game or the MNF game. This creates the opportunity to hedge!
2) Use the Favorite on the ML as the final leg.
This creates an easy hedge, taking the Underdog at plus points on a straight play.
3) Buy points to maximize the chance at a "middle", across "Key" numbers.
4) $10 to win 165K.... on SF -5.5

Using this strategic planning, I'd do a maximum 2pt buy and get Colts +7.5
IF SF wins by 6 or 7, ya hit both!

the amount to hedge would depend on lots of factors, but theoretically I'd like to win at least 10k.
something like risking 16k to win 10k, if the hedge side loses, you'd still pick up almost 150K, works for me!

I'd love to have a ticket like that one!

On a side note, in my PPR Fantasy League Playoffs, I trail my opponent by 1pt going into tonight.
He's got J. Taylor (rb), and I've got McCaffrey (rb)! So I'm rooting SF too!

gl guys!

LOB, hope you're doing well. Been awhile. I come here every so often these days but rarely post any more. I agree and have done all that you say in that post, esp putting the last leg on a separate game and while I never thought about making sure it's a favorite, it has def come out that way many times. I then decide....do I take the points (and buy a little if necessary? to try and middle OR do I take the ML and go to bed knowing I no longer care who wins (or at least that I've won and made a nice profit).

I think seeing his parlay that I'm on the Colts tonight though it's down to 4 now

Same to you and Slumdog and everyone reading this!

I haven't taken anything yet. With Rivers back last week I took them plus all the points (14 I think). And I also took Colts/Saints ML Parlay. Paid out something like 10-1 and looked like Colts were gonna do it but of course they lost by 2 after being up 13-3.

Good luck tonight!

No win for me but great hit lawtchan!! And I'm glad that guy hit his 15-teamer too! I almost hedged when it was 7-0 Colts, then it quickly became 7-7 and I went to bed lol. Woke up just in time to see Rivers thrown a pick to end my night.

You would think if someone told you rivers would put up 27. Plus 5. Would be a winner. What a Fkn disappointment by that defense. Made purdy look like Joe Montana. Pathetic

That was insanely bad defense, embarrassing. Purdy and their offense is pepping up though, and they didnt have Pearson, and Kittle for a half.
