What a terrible season for the Vikes. Go 2 - 12 then win a game to go 3 - 12 and lose Peterson for who knows how long.

The team is about 10 players away from being good. 3 O linemen 2 Wrs 3 defensive backs and 2 LBs. Other than that we are in great shape:facepalm:

Bringing back the fucking coaching staff is a BIG MISTAKE IMO. Frasier seems clueless and his O Coord is a fossilized turd (Musgrave)

Bright Spots include Rudolph the TE out of Dame.. he has been good and Toby Gehrhart is running much better this season. Ponder showed signs but also had some regression but in all fairness he hadn't much to throw too and he was running for his life.

The only way this season can end good is if somebody please beat the GB Packers this post season

As a packer fan last thing I want the vikings to do is draft a franchise qb or best player available. Last year they trade up to get a guy they could have got later in the draft and a qb who no one seen as that great in college. Now you have someone there who will be that guy so i hope they screw it up.

I do not think they take a Big receiver on the board.. Best case scenario is to lose to the Bears and take the tackle out of USC.. They need O - Line bad.. Lots of talented free agent receivers this year...

If they finish with the third pick, maybe they can trade down to assimilate picks..

It doesn't matter who they have at QB right now. This team is so depleted (Thanks Childress, Spielman, and Studwell) that they can't take another pick at a QB right now..

Now I was disappointed in the Ponder pick last year.. WTF were they thinking? I kind of like the kid, I can't fault him for the rest of the shit they have on the field. Hell he looks better than what Rodgers and Favre looked like in their rookie seasons..

Now saying that, I really wish they would of drafted an O - Lineman last year and came back with Griffin this year.. What sucks, if they beat the Bears, their draft position will move up to 5. Wish they would of lost to Washington.

Biggest Problem involving the Vikes is DENIAL DENIAL DENIAL. From the ownership to the fans.. My cousin in law who is as die hard as me stated during X Mas dinner, "we know it is not the players, it's all in the coaching." I just about fell out of my chair. Yes the coaching is terrible but the players are overrated except for a select few and many are really bad and would have a difficult time making other team's rosters mainly in the secondary.. Let's look at some over rated players..

RB Adrian Peterson - Easy to take a shot at the guy now that he is injured but he has been hobbled late in the season several times now. Paying a RB 100 million in a QB dominated league is just absurd.

LB Chad Greenway - Fucking paid this guy 10 million per year cause everyone thinks he is a pro bowler :mj07: He makes tackles but never makes a "BIG PLAY" you would expect for a guy getting close to top LB pay.

LG Steve Hutchinson - Age and Injuries have caught up with him. His average play has been blamed on nagging injuries.. About 3 years too many for me.

MLB EJ Henderson - Fans love him and so do I for his determination and ability to come back from devastating injuries but his time in the NFL as a starting MLB should be over.

Those 4 guys are eating our payroll. I can't imaging EJ and Hutch being back next year. Vikes are going to trim a ton of payroll

Favre will be back to rescue the Vikes next year. Even if the Packers lose in the playoffs, it will be a successful ear for me because they beat the Vikes twice and the Vikes had such a bad year.

I do hate to see Peterson get hurt. I admire how he overcame his fumbling problem by working hard. Hope the Vikes don't move to LA! Who would I hate?
