3-2 on the year. I'll try to keep tabs on the record but no promises.

Wake Forest (ML) over BC
This game is very interesting because these teams are very much alike. I almost took BC based on home field advantage but I think the deacons are the stronger team. Last week the Demon Deacon defense allowed just two f rst downs on the night, including one on the first play of the game. Granted that was against the sisters of Mercy JV team but still that is not bad against anyone. oston College scored 17 unanswered points to knock off Villanova 24-14 last Saturday at Alumni Stadium. I give BC the advantage because Nova is a better team than Presbyterian. Both teams return a solid number of players from pretty poor teams last season. Tanner Price vs Chase Rettig, I think Chase is the better QB. By better I think he has more talent. I think Wake has the better talent in the skill positions with Harris and Mike Campanaro. Both teams return talent on defense but I like the back seven for Wake compared to BC. Yes BC has Silva who I think is an animal but Wake has more guys with talent working together. So Why Wake? Well they have taken the last few meetings since O'Brien left. They have returning players from a team that one this game last year. Wake to a big league on BC last year only to get soft and almost blow it in the second half. This is going to be a fun game to watch because it is the only one on but thats about it. Both of these teams are not going to battle for the ACC championship. I like Grobe in this match up. I think he will have a game plan. He has pieces that can run his offense and the 3-4 defense often causes problems for teams that are not used to seeing it. I think Wakes defense eliminates big plays and Harris generates first down for the demons. BC is tough at home but I am going with the black and gold in Chestnut for a small play because I think there is better value tomorrow.

3-3
Miami (+3.5) over Florida
Something just does not feel right here. Looking at both of these teams last week I think Miami had more room to improve. They looked bad offensively but if Al would just feed the Duke he may be surprised how easy it is to pass the ball. Looking at the defense Florida is really just starting the season because of so many suspensions in week one. Miami has taken the last few games in this series but playing at Met life is not the orange bowl. This is just a play on the points and who has the best player on the field. Both teams have solid speed. Miami has more depth but I think they fix some of the issues they had last week and pass the ball better. Miami has scored 30+ points in 13 of its first 24 games of the Golden era, posting an 11-2 record in those contests. In those 13 games, Miami has trailed in time of possession 11 times. Miami is 8-1 in its last nine games when scoring 30+ points and trailing in time of possession. Miami has more options offensively but Florida has an edge in defense. Still I like the Hurricanes to make a game of this and stay within the points for a possible win.

South Carolina (+3.5) over Georgia
Watching the game last week Murray just is not a good QB against tough teams. Most of the yards for Georgia came from Gurley breaking big runs. The offensive line struggles to handle a weaker Clemson line. The Georgia defense just could not tackle or stay in position. The georgia defense is just BAD, can they change yes but I can see that type of improvement after last week. South Carolina played well in the first game but they did not play well defensively. Clowney took a lot of heat for being out of shape and not being an impact. I would think his defense takes offense to that and decides to show up big today. We saw last week Shaw can move the ball running and throwing and we saw Boyd hurt them often in that regard. This game should be a tough game but After such a tough game last week against Clemson Georgia should be a tad deflated and they just dont have the ability to stop teams. Just like the points even on the road but I would not be surprised to see South Carolina win. Murrays record against top 25 teams is just horrible and guys in the locker room cant help but know it.

Duke (-5) over Memphis
I like the devils. I think they are a good team that has slowly put some talent together. They believe in the coach and I like them to come out and play hard and turn drives into points. Cutclif has the backing of the Manning brothers and that pulls a lot of clout with the QB and he gets a lot out of that position. Smart play helps the devils against weaker teams and I think the tigers are a weaker team.

Oregon (-24) over UVA
Just a play on too much speed for UVA to play against. Yes they did well against BYU but come on. The ducks will run by this team and just have far too much talent on offense and defense for UVA to play with. Emotion may help them early but speed and talent will wear that emotion down.

Michigan (-5) over ND
I believe the under dog has covered the last few meetings. I do not believe that is the case with this Michigan team in the big house. The wolverines have some speed and ND has some talent but Michigan is the better team. This should be a big year for Hoke, this guy can coach very well and his team is dedicated to his way of playing. I do not think ND has the ability at LB to play pass but watch for Gardner. That kid as always should be a threat to beat ND and make big plays. Also I like if he scrambles the Safeties for ND go to help run and he can get the deep ball going. Although I think ND has the better defensive line I think Michigan has the better over all defense. Rees is a good QB but I think the wolverines get him off balance. I believe the wolverines will have more hunger, play with more effort and win this game.

WVU (-21.5) over Oklahoma
Had to pull the trigger on this just because of the though WVU could not be as bad as they played last week. If they are then it might be time to get the moving truck ready as the injection of the offensive GURU is not paying off. WVU replacing a lot of speed and talent but they should be able to score some points. Small play just on my thought the over reaction of WVU struggling with William and Mary.

A little nervous about Duke..... the majority of action is on Duke but the spread jumped to Duke -3.5???? I did think about buying it back but I am gonna roll with the blue because I still think they are the better team.
