No lines out yet but wanted to know what people thought about this game. Thinking of putting it in Tuesday morning or whenever I can get a line from my bookie.

WR for Carolina Steve Smith suffered a pretty nasty ankle/foot twisting sandwich vs Green bay. Didn't look good and he was carted off the field. I think Carolina missing their speedster Smith will cause more issues for that offense. Running game was not moving that much but GB did play well. The GB blitz seemed to throw Carolina way off! KC

KC on the other hand could not stop Denver run on Sunday night. KC defense has not changed from last year but the team plays good in Arrow head and after the disppointing loss in Denver I would say the defense needs to wake up and coaching needs to light a fire under their arses if they dont. KC offense should be able to outscore Carolina offense by 7 no?

Big game for defenses on both sides. KC sucked week 1 and Carolina defense could not stop Ahmen Green and Favre.

When this line comes out.. I want to take KC .. depending on what is. Over always looks good when KC plays against a good running team.

Any input?

The line was KC -3.5...didn't have a total.

Like KC myself....Holmes should have a huge game.
Also got a couple of nice trends for the game ;)

The line at -3.5 is awesome Christo! I would take KC in a flash with that line. My book is now at -5 for KC which I still think is good considering..

I heard on the radio that Steve Smith has a torn something with his leg. Torn anything means he will miss at least a game. Considering Smith is there best WR it would be in Carolinas best interest not to rush him on the field. KC can outscore Carolina IMO anytime, especially in Arrow Head

KC is the play right now. That line will get to 7 I think! Looking for 1 more play to put in my early teaser!!

GL in Week 2 everyone!!

I like the KC play, no way KC comes out flat on offense. They will use the screen pass and Holmes all day. With the injury to Smith look for the rookie Colbert to see some passes. He is in the same mold as Smith, small, compact, speedster. I like KC because Cunningham's defense will be as aggressive as GB and the o-line of Carolina showed it has a lot of work to do.

Yeah...would have been nice to jump on that -3.5....all gone now.....Lowest I'm seeing is -6.

Smith broke his leg??...either way, def out for this game.

I think you're absolutely spot on here, Irish.

PS. Like Washington -3 aswell. (got +100)

Good Luck this week.

uh-oh I agree with bells on!

Love KC this week ... Panthers are stubborn team but KC at home hungry for win ... not like losing at Denver is disgraceful ... Davis plugged vs GB and Car OL is shaky at best right now .... KC at home is explosive, 8-0 reg season LY; while Car was in every rd contest--only gave up 3 TDs or more 2xs/while KC was never held under 3 TDs at home ...

i think KC wins by 14; HUGE game for both teams so wont see lack of effort, I just dont see any way CAR stays up to speed offensively in this game ...

This is my fave NFL game thus far this year (that in itself should :scared many off it) ...

I bought to 5.5

gl to all

let me be the devil here :

kc plays excellent at home, but that does not guarantee a big victory. the chiefs looked poor on off against den. preist being the only bright spot. the chiefs wr's are weak at best. dante hall may still suffering from a hammy as well. the kc def tackles like my Raiders.

the game against den would have have been a blow out had den not turned it over.

on to carolina : this team will run the ball at kc. if they did not learn a lesson in the gb game - than they easily will be 0-2. the off line was partially to blame last week, but the play calling for caro sucked all night.

both gb and den were better prepared/superior teams last week. kc and caro both have ques on def and off.just a little different opinion here - not looking to bash either team. :)
