Went 4-1 yesterday in NFL. Think I am gonna go to the window and pass tonight.
I do have an opinion on the game, but not enough concrete to make it a play. I initially liked the Bengals but after having seen Tennessee perform well again at Houston and seeing the Bears squeak by Vikes, I backed off. In fact I may have done a 180.
These games are close, more than not. 3 of the last 4 decided by 7pts or less. Pittsburgh is 17-5 ATS at Cincinnati!! That is a hell of a stat to go against if you are taking the Bengals. Also, The Steelers in their loss to the Titans last week only gave up 230 total yards. That is impressive. Yeah they had like a 1.5 rushing yard average. If the Steelers can show up with a sense of urgency tonight and fight a little (OK, a lot) harder in the trenches then they did last week, then maybe the game stays close.
Plus, the Bengals seem to find ways to underachieve. They are loaded with talent. The AFC is their oyster (outside of Denver). They have to show me they can do it before I believe.
