I'm suprised that the patriots are not favored by 6 in their contest with the Vikes. Any particular reason why you like the Vikings over the Pats. The Pats are coming off a loss and they rarely lose 2 games in a row. This is a tough game to call. One would think to take the Pats coming off a loss but for some reason they are only favored by a few points...:shrug:

I am very surprised that the line is only 3 - so is every Tom, Dick, and Harry. It's not as relevant to me that nobody thinks the mighty Pats will go 0-2, as it is that they set the line so low, knowing that the Pats -3 seems like free money to a team that was 6 point underdogs to the Rams last week :mj07::mj07::mj07:

Here's the thing, it's not a typical great spot for the Vikes in the sense that the Pats are coming off a loss, and the Vikes come back home as a previous week dog winner. BUT, this is not your 2000s Pats team. They just aren't very good. Vikes are decent in the trenches, and I think they pound NE away, just like the Dolphins did. The Fins wore them down on the ground - the Pats D looked tired in the 2nd half. That Brady Pats O doesn't have the magic it once did. Is this the year of the Patriots demise? I'm not sure. But, I don't htink this is a good football matchup for this team - regardless of their record or the public perception. Add in the fact, that they are sticking the line at 3 (even being juiced towards Vikes), and you have the cherry on top.
