Week 2

Not the start I wanted, but honestly thought this was the toughest week 1 card in the past 5 years, if I can get out of it relatively unscathed I won't complain and move on.

Booked one for Thursday before the line moves:

UConn -7 (Double Play)

UConn can run the ball (218 last week 51 ypc) and can stop the run (40 yards given up). Temple can't stop the run (Army rushed for 218 against the Owls) and struggled on the ground vs the Black Knights (84 yards on 30 carries).

Weather should be a factor in this one. They are calling for heavy wind and a lot of rain in the NE on Saturday. Taking a shot on the team that should be able to move the ball at will in the slop.

Looking at those huskies as a possible big play. I am not sure why thats 7 considering temple beat up on Army. I still remember a temple team that couldn't get out of their own way last season.

Temple is improving but I think this a strong spot to play on UConn. This game will be played in bad weather, high winds, and in front of a stadium filled 5% to capacity. What I like most about UConn is that they are a solid squad and you know what you are going to get, which hopefully is good enough.

Air Force +3 -- line is a bit fishy, but I'll bite. AF's ground attack should win this one, regardless of location.
