Not stellar in the 1st week but still on the plus side.

This one jumps out at me straight away...


Memphis/Ark State over 54.5

I am going to go large on this play because I think this total is very much on the low side. Both these defenses proved to be works in progress in week one. Arkansas State could not get Illinois off the field as they let them convert on 12 of 18 3rd down attempts. Illinois is a BCS school sure, but they haven't got some prolific high octane offense. On the other hand, Memphis was plastered by Mississippi State and gave up over 600 yards. Memphis was able to find the endzone twice as well which I was surprised with because I thought the stout Miss State D would pitch the shutout. Aplin is a big time QB for Arkansas State and he has the weapons to pile up the points against Memphis. I like the fact that Memphis went to the air 40 times vrs. Miss State and I see them airing it out playing catch up this weekend as well. Taylor Reed should be able to have some success vrs. what seems to be a piss poor Arkansas State defense after completing 66% and 23 passes vrs. the Miss State D. This is my top play of the week and although it is only Week 2, this is my strongest play of the season.

Unless I am totally missing something, I see this one going over for sure.

Arizona over 26.5

Arizona has trouble running the ball and in all likely hood they will be playing from behind. It is no secret that the Arizona offense is pass first, and with a star QB like Foles, I like their chances to put at least 4 TD on the board. OK State crushed Lafayette but Weeden tossed 3 interceptions. If he doesn't clean that up, Arizona could force a turnover or 2 and leave themselves with a short field to work with. While OK State has the duo of Weeden and Blackmon, Arizona isn't fair behind with the duo of Foles and Criner.

People are reporting Criner is out for the game. He had 151 receiving yards with 1 TD last week. Don't know if that is a big enough factor to change your play or not.

You're right, Criner did not travel with the team, but that won't change Arizonas pass first plan. I still think they have enough talent at WR, and with a QB like Foles, he will get the ball there.

no dice with Az....piss poor defense and seemed to pile up all sorts of yardage through the air but couldn't find the endzone.


FIU tonight straight up to win....ML +150

Louisville struggled with Murray State. FIU is solid on both sides of the ball, Louisville will be down this year I believe. Lost a lot of senior leadership from last years team. FIU has weapons. Ty Hill is electric, and the QB is very experienced. Louisville has talent but is very young. I give an edge to FIU tonight because of experience and they definitely have big time players at the skill positions. Ty Hill will play in the NFL and tonight will showcase his talent in all facets of the game, especially how dangerous he is as a KR/PR.
