fwiw, i know some people pretty close to the program in lincoln, and they are confident that they will move the ball consistently against sc. taylor is completing 72% thus far, and though the competition has been soft, he is running callahan's system very well. there is a quiet confidence to callahan and his staff this season. they know they have somethin' a brewin.

that said, the over may be the better play, as i do think sc will attack nebraska'a young secondary with success. the huskers' d-ends are absolute monsters, with carriker being arguably the best in the country.

i'll be on nebraska +19 and over 57, with just a touch on the +850. you never know, right? gl.

Taoist,

Where you at now and what kind of practice you in? Since the last time we talked, I am now in Birmingham knee deep in defense litigation.

Good luck with those picks. I like Michigan and Oregon. I am leaning to Ole Miss and Navy though. Of course, I suck at picks which is why I am here.

Hey man, great to see you around the forum.... I figured that you'd come out of hiding when college foots cranked back up!!! :)

I opened a solo general practice right outside of Nashvegas.... Lebanon, TN. While I'd love to say that I did nothing but very lucrative personal injury suits, the truth is it is more of a family practice...you know the kind of law most attorneys will tell you to avoid at all costs. :scared I do divorce, custody, child support, probate, etc. I've done some contract work and whatnot, but I don't like doing criminal work.... It makes me feel more like a car salesman than an attorney. LOL :142smilie

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.... Drop me an e-mail from time to time,so I know that you're still kicking. Best of luck this season.... ;)

p.s. Thanks for the comments, wcb. I'm probably going to play Neb, but was going to wait and see if the line will keep going up. BOL :SIB

Hello Toaist,

mite play a little on Temple!

don't overlook Army and their defense against Texas A&M...offense......

A&M defense is terrible and Army should score a few points plus the spread...looks like a cover'

Welcome to Wilson County!

Seriously, by now Worm would have had 3,500.

Some have it, some don't.

Taoist,
I should of guessed you were a lawman..
My wife is finishing up in Boston and then I will go back and finish after (we met in Law school)

Good for you for not being a schister..
placing up your own shingle and doing it right...

Still owe you for downgrading my Cal over Tenn pick

Good luck this week

Stanford scares me though

Thanks for the replies (and the laughs), fellas!!! :mj07:

I have already played Maryland +17 when the line opened around 13.... Line is now 18.... :com:

WTF.... Pizza Money parlay.... :scared

Turtle +18
Under 50

I hate to see so many of the handicappers that i respect on WVU, but when this line opened, I knew it was Maryland or pass for me. Additionally, in a certain office pool that I participate in, there are about 20 people...and only 2 of us took Maryland. WVU is looking like Joe Public huge chalk favorite central.... (No offense intended to those of you on the Mountain men....) BOL this weekend, fellas. :)
