Hey guys,
I've explained this system in other threads but I'll do it once more. I am in a contest locally with a bunch of squares. There are 29 total contestants. I know most of these guys personally and to say that they are "Joe Public" would be a total understatement. Anyways, the person running the contest chooses 25 games (a mix of NFL and NCAA...and CFL), and the contestants must submit all of their selections by kickoff of the Thursday night game. All games are against the spread and you must select a side for all 25 games. Thus far, I've posted 1 NCAA and 1 NFL game where the selections for one team were totally lopsided and advised people to play the other side. So far, that record is 2-0. The way I will keep the record is if 20 or more of the 29 people select a certain side, then that qualifies as a system play. Listed below are this weeks games....
Games that qualify
Oregon -10.5 (26 selected) Big play on Arizona St
NC State +8.5 (22 selected) Medium play on Ga Tech
Oklahoma -15.5 (20 selected) Small play on Cincinnati
Games that don't qualify
South Carolina +2.5 (19 selected)
LSU -7.5 (19 selected)
Stanford -4.5 (18 selected)
Oregon St. +16.5 (18 selected)
Boston College +4.5 (17 selected)
Alabama -7.5 (17 selected)
Looks like the biggest play today should be on Arizona St as only 3 out of 29 people in the contest selected them.
best of luck today guys!
