Wow it's been awhile since I've posted on here, but it feels great to be back to football season. Anywho, here is what I'm thinking about for week 3
(All 3 teams are at home).

3-team (10pt) teaser (-110)

San Francisco 49ers -1.5 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Seattle Seahawks -9.5 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Denver Broncos -5.5 vs. Oakland Raiders

$550 to win $500

thoughts?

I like Indy at 21.5 more than SF side

My reply to that is to look at Indy's away games last year...

Week 1 - @ Chicago 41-21 (LOSS by 20)
Week 6 - @ New York Jets 35-9 (LOSS by 26)
Week 8 - @ Tennessee 19-13 (WIN by 6)
Week 10 - @ Jacksonville 27-10 (WIN 17)
Week 11- @ New England 59-24 (LOSS by 35)
Week 13 - @ Detroit 35-33 (WIN by 2)
Week 15 - @ Houston 29-17 (LOSS 12)
Week 16 - @ Kansas City 20-13 (WIN by 7)

Road Record: 4-4

The wins were against the 6-10 Titans, the 2-14 Jags, the 4-12 Lions and the 2-14 Chiefs.

The 49ers on the other hand are 7-1-1 @ home during that same span.

Indy O line is terrible and they cannot defend the run adequately at all. 49ers -1.5 is good imo. BOL w/ your teaser

Make this a 4 team 13 point teaser with NE and it cashes easy. Den and Sea may give a half ass effort that keeps it within the number. There is no reason for Den or Sea to be up emotionally for these games. Don't get me wrong, they will win but I like - 6 1/2 and - 2 1/2 better.

I think Tampa has a shot to win outright

Teasers are named teasers for a reason. Pick one instead of hoping for 3 out of 3.

TB has zero shot to win this game and little chance to cover the 7. TB is imploding from the infighting. they have locker room problems over Freeman and Schiano. Add in two last second losses, 10 days rest and prep for NE and 72% of bets on an away underdog (TB) = blowout city.

I do well with teasers too, but you have to think about the games differently, pick ones that will not get blown out and get key numbers on your side. There is a reason sportsbooks are adjusting their payouts on teasers, because they are getting killed on them.

Yep, the NFL has a lot of tight games, I can't imagine Detroit getting blown out in Washington. I think you are right with this being the week for the 14 point teaser instead of the 10 point teaser.

2 teams who killed teasers wee giants and niners

I like the sf play, its actually the third leg of my 10 pointer, with Pitt and the under hitting last night.

SF, is going to be way to physical for indy. Add in a bad loss to Seattle, they bounce back hard I beleive.
