I've got the Illinois-NC game about even CG and have USF winning; but with only 2 games played and a big difference in schedule played it's hard to have a good read on anyone. I guess we will see how the Illini and USF play on the road; hopefully well.

I personally feel that USF has by far the better talent and I like their coaching staff more too. Edsel has been awful at Maryland.......you would have thought he would have done far better with more at Maryland than UConn but the results aren't there. Taggart on the other hand will be just fine at USF.

Fedora blows games for his team.........more than most CFB coaches.....that alone is reason enough to play Illinois. GL!:0074

What is going on with the Illinois line? Its up to 10.5. Couldn't agree more on South Florida, I pounded it this morning and now is off the board.

I saw that earlier today and started kicking myself! I don't have a clue; someone please chime in if they know anything.

Illini with injuries. No way UNC should be favored by that much, however, Kent St and W Illinois aren't exactly top 100 material!! UNC "D" could score 14 vs Illini!!

Arkansas loses leading WR Keon Hatcher for at least six weeks

As if losing at home to an unranked Toledo team without its best player was not bad enough for Bret Bielema and the Arkansas Razorbacks, wide receiver Keon Hatcher suffered a foot injury that will keep him out of action for at least the next six weeks.

Bielema announced the injury update Monday, saying Hatcher went in for surgery in the afternoon and is expected to be out for a minimum of six weeks. If that is a best-case scenario, that would leave Arkansas without its top wide receiver for upcoming games against Texas Tech, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Alabama and Auburn. That is a tough stretch to go without the top receiver on the field, especially after going down at home to Toledo. And that is just the best-case scenario. Ole Miss and LSU still linger toward the end of the season, as do Mississippi State and Missouri.

Hatcher leads the Razorbacks with 198 receiving yards and two touchdowns through two weeks. he also led the team with 558 receiving yards and six touchdown receptions last fall. His loss is, of course, significant.

Before the season started the Razorbacks also lost last season?s leading rusher, Jonathan Williams, for the entire season.

Thanks WildBill; any specific injuries you're aware of? I know that they've played a light schedule so far but I tried to factor that in somewhat. I watched the N Carolina-S Carolina game and wasn't really impressed with NC; but the QB did have a bad performance in the red zone.

Thanks IE; I can always use help with injury updates.

I think we have got a decent shot Big G as long as we play sound ball and don't turn it over too much. Their new coach does concern me more than Muschamp. They probably have the edge in defense; although ours is coming along, but we should have the edge in offense. I'm just glad that defensive end of theirs that signed with the Jags (can't think of his name right now) has moved on to the NFL, he worried me more than anyone else on the team; with the possible exception of DeMarcus Robinson, who hasn't graduated unfortunately.
