no problem, just got in, heard it on the news so thought i'd see what i could find:
"Most of the Texans' starters will be limited to a quarter tonight against the Bucs, although rookie right guard Fred Weary will play longer because he missed the last two exhibitions due to the death of his sister. The remainder of the game will be used to evaluate players competing for bottom-of-the-roster spots and players who recently joined the team such as quarterback Tony Banks, tight end Jabari Holloway and defensive linemen Erik Flowers and Shawn Wortham.
"Obviously, we'd love to have every projected starter out there working right now and be able to get a full week's work heading into the Cowboy game," Capers said. "But that's not going to be the case, so we just have to evaluate the guys that we put out there and know exactly what they can do.
"The most important thing in my mind going into the Cowboys game is that we have to be able to put a competent group out there. Competence comes from great preparation and knowing you've gone out on the practice field and executed things successfully out there."
Because the starters will be in tonight's game for such a short period of time, the starters are putting an emphasis on playing efficiently, something they didn't do the past two weeks in losses to Kansas City and Miami.
The Texans (1-3) will start six rookies on offense tonight.
