Going with just two home dogs early - I think there is value with each.

Minnesota +1.5
Too much hysteria over the Pack's start and the Favre record. Minnesota's defense already top notch and defensive backs will be sky high today led by Sharper. Taylor is playing, giving the running game a boost, Holcomb with another week of preparation - Vikes should be able to control the ball pretty well in this one.

Atlanta +3
Houston, although solid thus far has all of their offensive starters out other than QB/TE, and go on the road to a desperate team. Just seems like too many points to me.

Thee late ones I like.

San Francisco +1.5
Feel that these are pretty evenly matched teams, and Gore will have a nice game. Seattle getting a lot of credit for not really proving that much to me thus far. Will take the home dog in an important spot. They have proven to know how to beat the Hawks last season, to boot.

Pittsburgh -6
Too much being made of Whisenhunt against the old team - not exactly the same Pittsburgh team with the new HC instilling some new vitality, and a solid commitment to the run and Parker. Don't like Ward being out, but Washington is a capable replacement. I see a TD win here against an inconsistent team.

Kansas City +12.5
I just think the Chiefs are better and the Chargers are worse than they are being rated in this number. It's as if the Chargers early struggles don't count, and I think they do. Especially on defense, former Viking defensive coordinator has the defense playing soft, and Turner has never been a solid motivator. Don't expect a Chiefs win, but the line seems overblown to me.
