Appa St -7 over Marshall ***
Last year they lost to marshall 17-7. I saw them in person vs Tex St and blow them away 38-17. They just left a good seeing eye impression on me. They had a nice qb in Brice who was replacing Zac Thomas one of the best qb's I have ever seen. Brice had a nice arm and was mobile. Without programs at these games I'm writing on pop corn boxes if I forget my index cards. Herd are coming off a loss to ECU. Appa had some nice wr's that could catch and run.. Think they win this by over a touchdown.

Coastal -36 over Umass *****
Best game, biggest blow out Chants are loaded with McCall at qb. Another seeing eye game vs Tex St winning 49-14. Watching from row 5 is not a very good way of handicapping except in basketball . McCall was the POY Sun conf winner. He threw for 2500 and ran for another 400-500 Umass . Umass cannot play defense. They have given up 69,56,63,45,56,41,51,and 45 last yr. Coastal beat them 62-28 by 34so the line is -36. But Coastal went 11-0 until they lost to Liberty in a bow game by a few. On my pop corn box I have qb outstanding.. Big wr;s that can catch, big team and O line looks outstanding. Tx could not getting any pass rush. Think they are all back. Umass is in for another long day.

Back later to explain the rest
Army -9 over Miami Ohio **
Duke -16 over Kansas ***
La Tech -11 over North Texas ***
La Tech destroyed NT like SMU did the week before Smoo won on a hail mary to beat La Tech

UTSA +3 over Memphis ***
Wyoming -31 over Uconn
see Umass defense the same as the Huskies

TCU-SMU Baylor- Iowa St Texas- Texas Tech EMU- Tex St Troy -UL Monroe have avoided seeing the lines and will see tomorrow what they look like Does Incarnate Word play anybody and is there a line on them. They used to be called the Crusaders but they changed their name to the Cardinals because a few Muslim students felt it was disrespectful since the Crusaders a few hundred years ago main purpose to was kill all Muslims.. The sisters of Charity agreed and the name was changed. And you all thought it was just the American native teams that changed. All i know is that Incarnate Word has one of the best qb's in the country and he is only a sophomore Think the transfer portal is open to him and he can pick who ever he wants to go.. or maybe he will stay in San Antonio another 3 years . Its amazing Jivan Jackson of UTSA basketball who 2 yrs ago led the nation in scoring will make an NBA roster this year. 2 hidden gems hiding out in San Antonio

It was announced yesterday that 24 Bobcats are being forced to sit out vs Eastern Mich on Saturday. due to covid. Of the 24 only team captain Patton on defense and backup qb Vitt are out. Now they are saying 10 of those 24 will be able to play on Saturday. None of them have practiced at all and 6 are flying via commercial air lines to the game. I guess many of them didn't play vs Incarnate but at least Spavital said " we all take ownership in this humbling loss". Tex st got spanked vs Word and had no clue how to stop the spread out air raid. And with a qb like Ward he just picked apart the defense. I think I saw at least 2 or 3 times where 2 wr;s were wide open and Ward could pick either one. I thought this loss might motivate the bobcats losing handily to a FCS team . Eastern had trouble with Umass last week and thought Tex St might come out ahead this week getting +6 or +7 points. but now with all the covid problems will stay away from this game. Spavital said ' " we weren't playing to win that game but playing not to lose. I don't think any bobcat fan at that game had any idea that Incarnate was going to kick there butts. I just wished I listened to those Incarnate parents sitting next to me and I wish my site where I play live wagering took the game

UTSA +3 over Memphis *****
Love Roadrunners today Memphis gave up tons of yards on defense and their heads all still swollen after upsetting a SEC team in Miss St. UTSA has a good qb solid and big wr's and the 3rd or best 4th best running back in the country in Sincere. He hasn't been unleashed yet. But UTSA defense is the surprise . Think Memphis gave over 500 yds up in win over Ark St Today they are in trouble .

Army -8 over Miami O ****
They are just a machine on offense with their blocking schemes . They have 3 qbs but Anderson has won that job. Have huge FB and a outside rb who if he turs the corner is gone. Ball control and playing at home is a double digut win .
Coastal -36 ***
A blowout right after the coin flip.

Duke -16 over KU ***
TCU -11 over Smoo **
Baylor +7 over Iowa St ***
La Tech -11 over North Texas ***
Tex St +7 over Eastern Mich **
despite covid EMU runs the ball . As long as they don't have a qb like Incarnate Words and spread attack think Bobcats have to be so upset with last weeks loss they come back with some pride and might even win this game

UTSA and Army top plays

Incarnate Word -7 over McNesse St ****
Just saw the line.. have no idea about McNesse St But after watching Cameron Ward last week destroy Tex St McNesse state is in trouble trying to stop this air raid attack with a qb with quick release cannon and touch and mobile . Still haven't seen a roster on how tall Cameron is .. By seeing him he looks about 6'4 but has a cannon of an arm. I am blindly taking the Word - a touchdown If McNesse covers or wins then my hats to that program. Because I think although they are a FCS team Cameron has been misplaced . this is a "seeing eye " capping strategy and unfortunately it works better in college hoops then football.. Incarnate wins big in this Southland conf game

Incarnate won 31-0 over McNesse state .. Ward threw for 352 yds and 2 td's next week they play Northwestern at Natchitoches .... they have now beaten Prairview and Texas St 40-9 and 42-34.. but did lose to Youngstown in 1st game I guess Youngstown figured how to stop or slow down Ward ... because since that game nobody else has.

Many thanks. And what an exciting game. Down by 21, never led until 5 seconds from the end. Love it, but my heart doesn't...LOL.

Cheers.
