Hey Cwood, who you like this week? Iowa +13.5 or Mich -13.5.

I know Sat night was a debacolo for Iowa , but this team has too much talent on defense to just roll over. Its hard to say. I think it'll be a close defensive game, Michigan probley will win because of our inexperiance on the o-line and at QB, but our defensive will be realy this week.

We just cant play during prime time, last to games that were night games, Orange Bowl vs USC and last week at ASU..were disasters. Hopefully we will play much better this week.

Right now I'm probly gonna take the under...but i haven't seen it yet, if its 45+ I'll probley hammer the under in this one.
Also of coarse I throw alittle on the Hawks +13.5 and the money line because thats just the way I am, made money the last couple years doing this when we were underdogs, but thats my own personal play, I don't reccomend it though, our offense did look pretty bad last week too many 3 and outs and our defense was wore out. Also Walter was on a mission to break Jake the Snakes passing TD record, he played almost the whole game to get the record, against some of our second teamers on defense.

ANYWAY
GO HAWKS
IT'S BEAT MICHIGAN WEEK!!!

iahawks, this is a no play for me at 13.5 with a lean to Iowa. Under looks good, we'll see where she opens and where it moves. Michigan has serious problems on offense right now and will have lots of trouble running on Iowa. Can Henne torch a suspect secondary, doubtful.

That said, if UM hangs onto the ball I could see a cover by big blue. If the offense doesn't serve up short fields to Iowa, not sure they'll be able to get the ball in the end zone. Iowa will not face a more athletic defense all year. UM D has cause 14 turnovers in three games, with 9 INT's.

Also keep in mind, this will not be the flat and injured UM team that showed up in '02 vs the hawks. They are healthy, hungry and very motivated after 2 straight losses to Iowa. Should be interesting. I'll provide any more insight I can as the week progresses.

Not sure if my boys from south bend have it in them again but they are starting to roll! I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet because that is a lot of chalk but it is @ home and you know the Irish get up at home!

The over under is 40 pts, thats pretty low. They must think Iowa isn't gonna score. Tough game to call. Iowa is better then what they showed last week, on defense anyways. At least thats what I would think. We did get a huge wakeup call and ASU left there starting offense in till 5 mins left in the game against our second team defense and threw the ball all over the place so Walter could break Jake the Snakes TD record, which will come back to haunt them especially if we ever play ASU in future years.

Anyway back to the Iowa Mich game, I think I'm just gonna tease it 7pts, go Iowa +20 and Over 33pts...what do you think? Of course I'll though a few bills on the Iowa money line just for fun, it's been paying off for me the last few years when we are the dog, but i don't know bout this year. But it just makes an outright win a little sweater.

Thanks Johnny B, it looked like the Aztecs had some decent overally speed. Receivers also looked polished. They could be a dangerous team, but don't put too much stock in their performance at the Big House. A close game after a big loss is par for the course with UM.

On UM Iowa, I have no lean to Iowa anymore at 13.5. Based on what I'm being told by a couple people in the know down in A2, I may get a little stupid and put some BIG money on the UM ML -550. The team has been pointing to this one for a while. Iowa is down and hurting, and the boys in blue are looking to kick em Sat.

Lean to to over on the total. Will wait to see if it comes down at all. Neither team will run effectively so the clock will be running real slow in this one.

The Irish will run the ball up and down the field all day.
UW play's no D . Only thing that worrie's me is that ND may be looking ahead to next week vs purdue.
