7-3 for Week 3

Overall
18-9 +7.2 units.

A couple of quick plays before I look at some further lines

Falcons -2.5 (I got this line in the middle of Thursday Night Football)

Falcons seem to be hitting their stride after rolling Tampa. Is Atlanta a fluke week 1 and 3 or is Cincy's D that good? I'm thinking Cincy's D is pretty legit. Minnesota isn't a roll over and now with Teddy in he might make some throws Cassel wouldn't have. Problem is Teddy is missing the two safely blankets that would have helped him. AP is still suspended and Rudolph is out for 6 week or more. Asiata has filled in alright, but remember this guy was 3rd string until Gerhart left. Can Jennings and Patterson lift the team enough offensively? I don't think the Vikings can keep up. Atlanta rolls by 17.

Baltimore -3

The Ravens had a nice comeback win last week. Problem is they shouldn't even of had that chance. Cleveland lost that game more than the Ravens won it. But a win is a win. Ravens run game is still garbage right now but Steve Smith has been a welcome surprise. Pitta is out now with a dislocated hip but Dallas Clark should help fill in. Carolina's run D is good even if they didn't show it Sunday Night. But I don't think the Ravens are going to run that much. On the flip side Ravens D has been beat up with injuries. Carolina has DeAngelo out, Jon Stewart out and Tolbert out now too. Say what you will but to me it looked like Cam was hurting Sunday Night. His mechanics showed it. Ravens win because Carolina can't do anything offensively.

I will be back with more. I'm really like the Charges/Jacksonville Over but need some more info on it.

GL everyone

Adding

Chargers -13 vs Jacksonville
Over 44.5

Jacksonville, where to start? They have lost their last 4 games by double digits. This is a trend that has gone on for the past few years. They lose and they lose by double digits most of the time. Chargers have shown what they can do, they are at home where they most recently beat the "untouchable" Seahawks. The only thing going against SD is injuries in the backfield. Woodhead is hurt to go along with Mathews. Bradshaw has been a very good fill in over the years and did fine last week against a pretty good Buffalo Defense.

You may ask yourself "Franchise_Davis, why do you think the Chargers will cover the 13 but also hit the over easily?" Because of Blake Bortles. #1 Bortles should have been starting since day one, he is way more talented than Henne. He can make throws Henne can't, he can move with his feet and he can throw receivers open. He was able to show improvement in the areas he struggled with in college. Mainly his positioning of his feet when he throws and when he rolls out. #2 His girlfriend is smoking, I was bummed to find out they were implants.

Barring a sudden change in the weather conditions will be perfect for football and throwing the ball.

San Diego wins easy, like 47-17

GL everyone.

More if I see any line changes or injury reports that stick out to me.

Who can resist some Thursday Night Action?

Under 45.5 DEAD WRONG

I got some really great info on the forum from cagex about unders and then I went and dug a little deeper into this game.

Week 1 on MNF the Giants dbs looked horrible as Megatron ran wild. Since then they have quietly been playing very good on defense. Where they get in trouble is with Eli throwing picks and Jennings fumbling. The good thing for the under these things have not lead directly to points the past 2 games, they have just prevented the Giants from putting points on the board because the D has been able to rally and force a punt.

Washington's offense looked great last week...against the Eagles. The Eagles D is horrible. Matching up with a decent D like the Giants I think Washington will slow down. No way they can pass the ball like they did last week. Morris will get a lot of runs. On the opposite side to try to prevent Eli from throwing pick 6s the Giants will run with Jennings. Washington's D is some where inbetween the world beats that played the Jaguars and the D that got run over by the Eagles last week.

Plus with a short week I tend to like the defense to have the advantage. (Last week I was dead wrong but that's because Tampa was a complete dog out there)

GL everyone, let's start the week off right

Adding Saints -3

Saints/Cowboys over 53.5

0-1 after last night, but it wasn't like I was going to win them all this week. Just got the loss outta the way so I can clean up on the rest.
