Buyer beware.... I have suffered a ton of bad beats in the past two days, running a little cold

Navy (+2.5) over UConn
Navy has looked very good in its past few games and UCONN has not. They will be starting the back up QB and I do not think the huskies can figure out the rushing attack Navy will bring at them. Even though Navy lost to Tulsa they game them a good game, UConn struggles with Indiana and is too banged up for this Navy team. Navy has no quit and a tough attitude and it would not surprise me if they won this game out right. The poor rushing defense for UConn will struggle getting Navy off the field and if Navy can control the clock they should have no problems winning this game. They must do that and avoid the turnovers and UConn will be hard pressed to get things going and stay with the midshipman.

Oregon (-1.5) over ASU
ASU struggles with Colorado (the Buff were still in the game until a late drive and go ahead TD), they got hammered by Cal and now they get a Ducks team with a swagger after beating Oklahoma even with the controversy. The Sundevils defense has improved but they hove a tough time with a mobile QB (not scrambling on them but keeping plays alive and giving time for receivers to get open) and Dixon should be able to keep drives alive off busted pass plays. Stewart should also have a lot of success because the sundevils will more than likely commit to stopping the pass and that opens up room for the running game. The passing game for both teams has weapons but Oregon?s is playing with confidence and that is a big part of this game. Carpenter has not played well and has 8 Ints on the year but also has 11 TD?s. Torain is a very good run threat and Oregon is in trouble on defense. They have gotten better but not where they need to be to beat the top level teams. The Ducks' 31-17 win over the Sun Devils last Oct. 8 ended a three-game losing streak. Not only has Carpenter been picked all season but he has fumbled the ball in the last few contests. This is big because Carpenter struggles when the other team brings pressure. Even if the ducks stink on defense they can still blitz and force the offense to get out of sync. This will be offense against offense and IMO the ducks have the better players. The overall team speed of Oregon will be tough for ASU, this will be a classic PAC-10 passing game and the ducks WRs, RB and especially QB are more skilled and playing better going into this game.

MSU (-26) over Ill
Ill lost by 33 at Rutgers, agter last night I am not sold on there defense. I think the spartans are looking to open it up after that loss last week. Ill has looked poor on offense and terrible on defense, IF MSU comes to play they should roll this team. Not Too much to say other than the WR's of MSU are too tall and fast, Stanton should have a big day and the O-line should be able to control the line of scrimmage. The defense should have something to prove after last week and will be looking to prove it on a weak "JUICE" QB and bad Ill O-line.

As I posted Rutgers need to cover 1 man, yet they failed to do it, Now after about 5 beats.... I am off to the pub to start this day fresh.

No time for a write up out the door:

Neb (-22) over Kansas
Have been a big Jayhawk supporter but last week against Troy Nebraska made me think they have something to prove after the USC game. They are also a very Strong team at home.

USC (-14.5) over Washington St
USC has a lot of talent and IMO too much team speed for Washington St. Washington St has played hot and cold this year and if USC comes to play the passing game should be too much, even without Jarrett.

Tulane (-3) over SMU
Emotion of their first home game in over a year, should be enough to cary a bad team past another bad team.

Nevada (-3) over UNLV
Scared because Nevada hasn't looked good on the road but I'll give them the edge in the offense department.

Doubling up
OSU (-7) over Iowa
Just think this team is for real and Iowa even with the home field will have a tough time matching up.

Mich (-10) over Minn
Going with the better team off the revenge game.

Wrote that FLA game off but it was nice to finally get a break for once this week.

What can I say Nebraska is bad and thier coach is terrible, and if I knew that was what their defense (blackshirts my a$$) was like I more than likely wouldn't have played USC... oh well, it was an ugly weekend. The Tulane team is a joke, they go up by 1 and let SMU return the kickoff 102 yards for the TD... Just a lovely day for me. Sorry guys, will look to improve and limit Quarter plays as they seriously hurt this card.
