OK Florida beat up on Kentucky, does that put them in the area to play on the road against the best team in college football? Bama is putting up 245 yards per game rushing and the passing attack averaging 267.Florida might be balanced, but it?s at a much less efficient clip averaging 170 yards on the ground and 186 through the air. So Bama has the better offense and home field advantage. Oh yes Floridas offense or should I say the Demnps show, stopping that guy will effectively slow the gators to a crawl. The Bama defense should key on him and the kid does have a foot injury that might slow hiom down just enough. Oh but now they have broke back Tebow in Burton right? C'mon, how can this guy be refered to in the same class as Tebow. He had one good rushing game at home against a poor Kentucy defense. Oh I know the gators will use the no one thinks we can win attitude, how did that go over for Arkansas? Lets break this down by position. QB well bama has a guy that has not lost since he was a junior in highschool. Florida has the "new" Tebow or a guy that has not looked very shape in his first outings. Running back Ingram and Richarson, do I need to talk about those guys? Florida has Demps (not a running back) and Gillsee or running back by committee. Advantage Bama. Line play, well florida uses Demps and misdirection to get him free. That is if they can get the shotgun snap under control. Bama has opened hugh holes for both runners and given its QB good time to hit passes, IMO advantage Bama. WR Bama comes in with Jones and Hanks they have more yards and more tDs than thetop WR for florida. Defense both bama and florida have good players on defense but I would not say either is going to shut the other down. I think florida's defense has made bigger plays but bama has been a little more consistant. Urban can use the us vs the world speech but I just do not think florida has the experience in the big positions in this game. I think it will not be as easy today as it was last week.Florida has not really been tested on the road and you have to think the bama faithful will make it a little hard for the gaters to set up. I think looking at this game pouncey has had trouble with the shotgun snap and pulling to block, how is he going to do against talented defensiveline play in a situation where he is on a silent count? That could de trouble. So I think Bama just is steady eddie, they will run the ball and take advantage of the pass. They will be more efficent and as they go along they pull away. Always hard to give up this amount of champ to a division foe but that what makes this nice when one is solid and the other one has questions.
